My Rank is 12585. Can l get CSE in Chengannor engineering college? I am in general category. Whether the last rank shown in cee website includes full fee merit seats in IHRD colleges?
You have good chance to get cse in chengannur engineering college. Last rank 2023 cse low fee merit is 9032 and full fee merit (mg) is 18659 in general category. Last rank may vary this year. But I think you will get full fee merit that is management quota (MG).

Actually all christians irrespective of their caste can claim for minority certificate. I’m also a christian rc , but I got minority certificate from taluk . I think any other certificate stating that we are christian can also be considered . In my marklist(cbse) , religion is not given. So I had to obtain it from the taluk.

I'm not sure it's useful to u now; it comes under the mech department, and the syllabus is 80% same as the mech. Placement wise same oppurtunity as mech. Industrial focus on system optimisation. If u want to get inti analytics IE is a good branch, chances of landing a mech design job is pretty low. If u r decent chances of landing a IT job is very high. I gràduated in IE from CET, 25 years back. Coursewise it is one of the most interesting to study.

You can obtain it from akshaya or taluk . I dont know whether it is compulsory, I think it’ll be good if we upload it as we’ll be given priority in colleges having christian quota .
