I very rarely use a pallete as a stand alone palette, i usually mix palletes together. So when I look at new palettes I always look at how will it go with what I have and picture which of my palettes I will mix it with.
Yeah me too! I pick 3 to 5 palettes from my collection (depending on size) that I want to use, or go nicely together, and I'll play with those until I've had enough and then I go shop my stash again. Sometimes a colour story inspired me but I can always tweak it a little with one of then other palettes I have on hand.
I often only use one pallet but lately I've been reaching into others for shimmers or mattes!
Yeahhhh I also almost never use only one eyeshadow palette
I very rarely use only a single palette ! I almost always use multiple palette’s because I like to mix and match finishes and colors (thanks to Angie I’m now not afraid to include brighter colors).
I also appreciate the no pressure intro. The 4 looks 4 palettes are my favorite! When you mention your favorite at the end, you often say “ maybe these 2 together are my favorite.” How about a video of your favorite companion palettes? You’re amazing. The dark teal in the last palette is Pleiadian (plee-ADD-ee-un). Referring to the Pleiades( PLEE-uh-deez), or Seven Sisters, a cluster of stars in the Taurus constellation (also figures in Greek mythology). Also my favorite look, this palette is very tempting to me! 💚💙💜
My favorite look was your last one. You make blues so attainable for me. But, if I’m being honest you make everything look attainable and gorgeous!

The look with the Jingle Bell Ruby looks like something I expected from the Dragon Eye palette. The packaging of the Dragon Eye is absolutely stunning, but when I saw the inside, I was disappointed. I agree it looks too neutral, and i expected more Greens. Thankfully, Dede's Signature didnt disappoint, at least in color story. I might check something out from them next time!

My friend is Vietnamese, and is into Asian beauty, but she said she wanted something sparkly because she doesn’t have any sparkly eyeshadows. I think she’ll really appreciate the silky Matte formula along with the amazing shimmers!

Love this series from you! I agree that the Dragon’s Eye palette packaging made some exciting promises that I don’t think the shades live up to. Why did they go so muted and neutral?! The one green shade is beautiful though. The Jingle Bell palette is so Christmasy and fun - my favorite. ❤🎄❤️

I took myself to see the new Hunger Games movie last Friday. I loved their casting choices for Dr. Gaul and Dean Highbottom. Currently in the midst of rereading the book as well. The movie felt a bit fast paced, but they did have to pack quite a bit in.
Love this type of video to see what I could do with similiar colours in my stash or if I have picked up one of the palettes or want to! Chariote is a gemstone found in Russia, it is a deep purple stone and is one location and only found there. I love gemstones!

Hunger games was so good!! I loved the book and we went to see it last night and I was the only one who read it 😂 but we all enjoyed it! The book was of course better but only because it had more time and his inner monologue to provide information

I LOVE the BBB and ER palettes and have them on my wishlist! Jewel tones make my heart so happy! That ER looks like such a nice color story and range. The Dragon's Eye looked so gorgeous in the promos and it would be a lovely "every day" palette for me, but I'm going to wait a bit. I feel like your review on the Christmas palette is not enough to sell me, especially since I have those colors elsewhere.

I personally, LOVE when a brand create their products with matching or cohesive packaging / complimentary art designs.
I can definitely understand the Bejeweled Palette that seems a bit mixed up/scattered colours it can be confusing or just make me feel uninterested in getting a palette especially if the colours don't look complimentary...For me, I was kinda disappointed in the the DRAGON EYE palette colour choices since it doesn't actually match the INSANELY INCREDIBLE GRAPHIC DESIGN & PACKAGING aside from the shade SCALES being a definitive match to the design. I would seriously rush to get the palette solely for the packaging thinking it would have similar colours but then change my mind after seeing what's inside. I think those colours may have been better with a more sweet,softer or/and romantic idea.
Loved the all green look the most 💚 & also the last look is perfect for a fancy denim👖colour inspired look...All your looks are always awesome...I like metallic, shimmery, dramatic, colourful looks the most...I always look forward to it & even those days when you do a neutral but with a hint of colour.

The bejeweld together with pastel garde, that was my first thougt to. I alwayw bring something darker in when i use pastel garden. But i really love the quality of that palette.

Absolutely love these videos with multiple indie pallets! I usually end up using like 3 different pallets when doing my make up. It is really fun to just mix and match, and kind of creating my own colour story.

The Dragon palette really does need a darker matte maybe in place of that bright salmon shade. For me, I love the packaging, I love the quality of the multichromes but there is a kind of disconnect for me of the outside and the interior. It feels like it doesn’t match and when I look at this palette in my collection, I won’t think of the interior. If that makes sense.

I feel like Texas impacted your music choices for this video just a Lil bit haha. I am very on the fence about the Dragon's Eye palette. I have no problem using it as a companion palette but I am questioning if I truly need it lol. I know I don't need it but I am leaning toward wanting it anyways. Just need to see if I have those mauve tones in my other palettes and if the shimmers would truly be unique - or if I'd actually use them! I go back and forth so much.
