Slow down the speed of the video if you want to play along! This can be done in Tools.
    Practice Tips:
    - The crescendo/decrescendo in the 1/2 bar and 3/4 bar should be even and dramatic.
    - The articulation starting in bar 5 should be clean and even. Emphasize the 16th notes/semi-quavers with more air so that they are not swallowed.
    - At bar 17, the double bar, ask the pianist to imitate a jazz upright bass to give a cool swing feel to the piece.
    - Try subito piano at bar 25 with a crescendo leading to the DC al Coda, this is the high point of the piece!
    - In bar 30, just before the DC, be aware that while you have a quarter note/crotchet on the last beat, the pianist has two eighth notes/quavers. Don't let this throw you off!
    - At the coda, try an accent followed by a crescendo so that the intensity continues to the end of the piece.
If you want to try playing this yourself with the piano, check out the version with piano only. Click on the link below.
