    It's greatly appreciated how you explained many of the nuances that are too often mechanically dictated in the interest of product completion. A true teacher. Thanks.

    Wow this is truly an awesome tutorial. Many thanks for this fam. I've got a question tho, how do you know when to use the start ketyframes to animate as opposed to the offset key frames cause I noticed that at some point you stopped animating the offset keyframe. I would really appreciate clarity on this. Once again thanks!!

    On the first animation- when I reduce the track to bunch up all the letters, they all smush to the left side of the text box, and when animated they all come from this side of the text box... doesn't look very smooth.
    In your example they slide from the middle of the text box area, any idea what the difference is?

    In the Fold In animation, after you changed the vertical scale value, how does the scale know to expand back out from 0% to 100% without setting scale keyframes?
    On the Scale and Tracking one, why did you use Start instead of Offset that time?

    • @TheKeyframeAcademy
      @TheKeyframeAcademy  Před rokem +1

      Fold animation: When working with text animators, the range selector becomes the property we use to animating between two values because it allows you to animate on a "per character" basis, rather than just the whole layer. The two values that the range selector will animate between in the default value (in this case 100% scale, and what ever value you that you change the scale to (in this case I change the vertical scale to 0%) So just by changing that to 0% I now use the range selector to keyframe between 100% and 0% on a per character basis.
      Scale and Tracking: Because I was animating the entire line (rather than each individual character seperately) I didn't need to change the shape from square to ramp up. You only use the offset value if you need to use Ramp up. Otherwise you can just use the start and end properties.

    Nice, thank you! Would have been nice to have you slow it down and explain a little more about what the different elements (scale,offset and such) actually do and mean. I know this is basic knowledge for people that have been using AE for some time, but since the name of this video has the description "beginners" in it i would asume that there is alot of beginners (like me) that get a little overwhelmed and not really understands what each thing does. Don't know..maybe it's just me ;-)

    Adobe: Pay 70 bucks a month to create everything from scratch yourself, including even basic animated titles. It will only take you 30 minutes to create this awesome underwater animated title. Free mobile app: here's 100 different pre-made animated titles, just change the text, color, speed and tweak the animation. Can anyone explain why I need either one of these programs to create a video? My videos are mostly text-on top of video (lyric, chart positions, short recaps of artists career etc).
