Rally at Oregon State Capitol, Feb 6, 2019, #3

Jumping ahead- Oregon State Senator Dallas Heard speaks to close out the speeches given that day on the steps of the Capitol. (Hint: you might try toggling the "cc" control for closed-captioning. OK- maybe not. Unless you need a good laugh.)
Inspiring words, at least to me, and I don't have any kids. At 5:10 mark, a pledge of civility. Later: "The people will decide. There is no other option."
Participants were mainly opposing extreme climate legislation as proposed in 2020 Oregon Legislature's SB 1530, and the unethical strong-arm tactics used by majority party (Democratic Party of Oregon) and allied activist/lobbyist groups like Renew Oregon (funded in part by 2020 presidential candidate Tom Steyer). Rally-goers also opposed other proposed legislation, including bills which allegedly would prohibit new "fossil-fuel" infrastucture (including gas staions), and which would enact stricter gun control/prohibitions.
