Who would have thought that two big mainstream car companies that both shared chassis platforms MG ROVER/Honda are no longer built here or exist. My brother worked at MG ROVER and started in 1995 on the rover 200 (aka bubble shape) and then stayed till the end 2005 in the press car workshop. Myself and the rest of my family all drive Honda's...2007 CIVIC 2.2. ICDTI/ 2011 CRZ/2012 CRV/ 2019 CRV and ive got a march 2019 Civic 1.0T VTEC sportline which has been a brilliant car and has never gave me an ounce of trouble, so thanx guys for building us some brilliant cars 👍👍
Nice to se some different views of manufacture. I wonder if this is pre production prior to full manufacture for consumer cars? Your slow motion made it look robotic and false.

Deer gawd check out the amount of automation not many humans in that factory . When I was in the 6th grade(1968) my class took a field trip to the Chrysler plant and the only robots we saw back then were on TV.

Sorry, but you're wrong. I work at Honda in the Engine plant. The build quality coming out of the UK factory is consistently rated the best, compared to all the other Honda factories worldwide.

This video shows just a small part of the car plant. There are 3500 employed at Honda, plus around another 10,000 in the supply chain.

Bmw was offered the site but refused and has built a new press plant at their swindon site. shame as it could have been a good investment.
