I literally just replaced a zipper in a fleece jacket for the first time yesterday. Fumbled through it and was grateful I could just reverse the steps I took to remove the old one 😅

Beautiful jackets and great tutorial! I'd forgotten about the flatlock hem capability of my serger and will have to try that soon. One thing that helps me line up zippers is to make a mark on each side of the zipper to match with a seam (or plaid) so that when the zipper is closed (after basting), everything matches up the first time.

Great tips for reusing and fitting sleeves. As for pocket, I've taken pockets off before, and if you scratch over line of stitching, then give it a shot of steam if can make them look alot less visible and in some cases take them away all together.
Keep up your vids there great and very educational.
    Thank you.

I had a hoodie, that I didn't use often, so 1 day I decided to put a separating zipper in it and I gave it to my daughter for school because she used to feel cold with the AC 😊, but I also have 1 of my husband's hoodie but idk why I am feeling nervous to do it with that one for me 🙈😂😂😂

With the cuffs on this one did you use the 80% less than the wrist circumference? Sometimes I have trouble when I draft my own patterns when not using ribbing. 😊

Hello there, try it, if it works for you, but I always find it way easier doing it one side at the time, both while pinning/basting and while under the presser foot of a sewing machine :)
