My first military driver's license was for an M151A2. We had to do a reverse serpentine with the 1/4 ton trailer that was a little unnerving. Anyway, I just bought an '01 TJ that has cloudy plastic windows - can't wait to try this method of clearing them up!
That spray would probably work even better if you rotated the towel/rag to a clean spot more often. Great job, and thanks for sharing the tip.
Thanks, works like a freakin Champ!! Just did a 1990 Suzuki Samuri i just got for a Offroad vehicle
great vehicle and great video, too!
Bernie Midgard thanks
nice trick there ,good job!
Super nice vehicle 👍🏻
Awesome video
I can’t see out my rear window either. Weird but the sides never got funky. I’m on this.
Thanks....I will have to try that....I tried some Macquires expensive stuff....did not do much....still cannot see very good in my rear view mirror....I have used that on my old tube radio restoration......never thought it would clean the windows on my rag top TJ. 🙂
Dude! That's insane! I need to try this on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler! I just got it last week, and it has the original soft top, and all the back windows are yellowed and dirty, this seems like a super easy fix :D
If that didn't work, try a 3 step system from Novus. You will need a small (3-4") orbital polisher, if you want to speed it up. LMK how it turned out for you on your 08, I just got a 21 with a soft top that has scratches and hazing and it seems to have cleared them up- except for the deeper ones of course.
@@CurrentElectrical I ended up just buying a new top 🤷♂️
I’m trying this just bought a 07 jeep ugly windows
I dont know, we didnt see the slave plug in my BN, till almost 1978, so it might be later, unless someone restored it that way. heaters were only issued for FLA, types. always loved how the cav types drove around with two radios/antennas, we never had the winter kit. or the fording kit. maybe that was a jarhead thing ?
also recommend you get the door straps on it.
How long did it last ???
Brilliant
is that what boat people use ? do you have the sides and doors ?
Brian Branson I have no idea about boat people and yes I have the sides and doors
How does that window look two years later?
Don’t know I sold it a year ago
Wow, that stuff dries fast! Definitely NOT Windex! ;) Amazing!
Kickinpony.66 I was blown away how this worked
💥💥💥💥💥DON'T. you will render the plastic brittle and WILL CRACK because it has no more oils in the plastic that enabled flexibility.
If it’s like the m151a1 better be careful on curves
yah thats why the NTSB had em outlawed for so long.
Military had put a speed limit on them a year after they came out don’t think ntsb was around
I will look for this

Waste of $5, This crap didn't do jack for a foggy window
Use acetone on plastic
Looks like product has too much OIL in it.
No good for vinyl windows 🪟
