That's why he can play and act Kratos realistically, it's because he is a father, it's like watching his own kid and guiding him and this game, it is a beautiful story.
Chris gets to be a dad all over again to Sunny. That’s exactly why I loved watching the interactions between every character that was in this, because the actors love each other and you can feel that even when there’s tension between them in the scene.
I'm with Judge on voting for Sunny, I think Sunny did an amazing job as Atreus. Everyone is inevitably going to gravitate towards a great portrayal of a familiar character, and nobody gave much attention to Sunny, which sucks because he did so good capturing the portrayal of the young boy of Kratos.

Ikr if Atreus gets his own series it's gonna be amazing, I'm 110% sure the man can carry a game as the main character.

If I could give my piece, I'd give an award for "Best Casting Members" and they'd all get awarded. I really think a lot of them really perform well as their characters. Even Sindri and Brok, Mimir as the Voice Acting. Like the major characters that was included 80% of the cutscenes. Everyone really didn't think much of Sindri and Brok but I love them.
Next GoW title I guarantee that Sunny will have an even more leading role and put on his greatest performance winning the best performance award at TGA.
I'll miss Christopher Judge as Kratos. Whatever the future may hold for Santa Monica I hope it's as bright as it has been for the last 4 years!

I absolutely think Judge deserves this, he brought to life a character who already had established expectations and background development. There was never a single time where I went "Well, this doesn't feel like Kratos." He brought an absolutely immersive touch to the character from my childhood. I wish they could have both won an award, him and Sunny, because Atreus has some of the best character growth in a story, and as the rest of the crew had said, he grew up during the production of these games, bringing his actual life into the character with his aging. Its not often you see cast and characters age together in a natural way. When a performance leaves you dreading the end because you don't want it to stop, that is icing on the cake. Congrats to Judge, and I'm sure being presented this award by Al Pacino, a living legend in the film industry, must have been quite the swell of emotions, and yeah, I'd hug him too.
What a legend! If he wanted to, I vote for him to be the next voice of Darth Vader. Congrats on the well deserved award!

I know this is off topic but I hope in the next game there is a scene where Kratos actually has to face his old self and I hope TC Carson plays his old kratos. It would just be nice to see him as kratos again and he did amazing job. And I also want to see him and Christopher interact

@@jackluffy7914 I agree. There's an interview with Carson where he says they didn't even tell him he wasn't gonna be in the next game anymore and it kinda bummed me out. There wasn't even a small acknowledgement that he deserved. He was Kratos for at least 5 games ffs.
The amount of times Judge's performance brought me *thisclose* to bawling my eyes out, as well as the animation beautifully enhancing that performance... I can only aspire to be that good of an actor myself. He's just wonderful.

So basically Kratos : Ragnarok isnt a game, its a very real relationship between a man and a boy, this is what I love about games of today, its not just models and voices, its people coming together and showing their emotions!

These people in the comments only know to spread false info and nothing else. This is the last game in Norse saga. There is a next game the directors are just taking a break from the tension during development. God of War isn't God of War without Kratos, so keep the thought of this game without Kratos out of your mind.

Honestly I love these two and they work together well also I'm fine with Judge getting the award but didn't he have one for 2018? Also he did great in Ragnarok but I feel like Astreus or Sunny deserved it more especially for a young actor he did really well portraying his character and how he acts emotionally.

its pretty obvious that the developers adjusted Sunny’s height to be a bit shorter in the game… bcoz in the game Atreus was a bit shorter or in equal height with Angrboda💁🏻♀️… i hope we can see bts of the other characters like Brok, Sindri, Mimir, Lundra, Fryr, the two elves💁🏻♀️im pretty curious how do Sindri, Brok and Lundra look like on set.. and ofc Mimir💁🏻♀️

I have not unfortunately because of carpal tunnel instead of my gaming bringing me happiness and joy it sadly just come with horrible pain and fingers have a very hard time being fluid do to that. I am trying my best to not watch trailers or any other feed on it but this feed happen to come up so I clicked I just wanted to hear your voice and then I set and watch because the making just fascinates me. There are many so many video game that don't have substance in my opinion this has substance but it is the actor that do that before the actors are voicing those character these are just images nothing more you give it that substance the story and emotion I receive is just magnificent. I hope that in the future if this wonderful game makes even more games or they adapt to television that you are the choice of actors for Cratos. You embody him in my opinion. You do the walk you talk the talk I think you would be perfect. Just my very humble opinion. Because you are not exactly and small man with a mighty voice your huge (all in a positive way I assure you) and I firmly believe that you could Play him in a tv adaptation. Thank you for your hard work and your great effort to make Cratos come alive in a way we had not seen him before more you give it that substance to the story You just make it magnificent.
Like for all the woke nonsense out there, this is THE show a black actor must be cast, not for any reason but being faithful to original game and for awesomeness - to me, Judge IS Kratos.

Ive been playing video games since 1981. I have to say GOW Ragnarok is the best looking game Ive ever seen and played. Christopher Judge was meant to be Kratos. Robert Craighead as Brok is hilarious.

I love Christopher Judge, absolutely like I hate the OG GOW Soundtrack, it pales in comparison to 4 & 5 especially you cats that do that stupid ass edit replacing the 4 theme with the OG theme when he gets the blades of chaos to save artreus. That being said, TC Carlson needs to be honored and appreciated, all you GOW fans, McCauley Caulken played OG Kratos, you wouldn't be able to appreciate Christopher. Yet everybody has just went with this " The past is the past " bullshit which no man agrees with, like damn dude TC Carlson made this shit possible
But it's so cool when they replaced it with the OG theme. People even suggested that before he grabs them, there should be a more calm version of his theme until he grabs them, at which point the theme picks up, replaced by the OG version until he walks out.

Now that being said, the OG theme ( 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 ) not trying to be a narcissist, but I feel offended when folks compare it to GOW 4s Ost, like I watch fan-made trailers, they inspire me, there are a million moment in 1-3 that are better than any moment in GOW 4, the OG theme, nooo...
