Thanks for showcasing my two mains, OG Raven and Feng. The game seems like its moving into a more momentum based fighting game than the chest game it used to feel like. I hated Tekken 7 because of how they did Raven. But when I saw your highlights it inspired me to try Tekken 7. Still didn't like it, hopefully the movement isn't so nerfed like it was in T7

Tekken 8 is fun. But its gonna be very annoying in high ranks. Power crush,Heat and rage art keeps you too protected cause of that armor.

The first mod I want to see is a one that give T8, Tekken 7’s impact SFX.

This is how I feel about the inputs being easier. Personally, I do not like having easy input, I have played games like naruto ninja story, and batman arkham knight, arkham knight is the best easy input game out there. And most games do not copy that kind of easy input set up because either game devs are not competent enough to look at the batman, and spider man series, then replicate it, or they can not afford to. But single plaer games are where easy inputs belong. When you make an online game where you will not be doing things like free roaming, you will only be waiting on matches, and waiting in menus, the easier the input for combat, just means the more likely you are to have players quit once they can not steam roll someone, and once they stop understanding what inputs to do, they will just rely on straight button mash because if your looking at reality, easier inputs just= hey button mash, or press one button then a direction to do everything. Inputs make it so players atleast need to take the time to press the buttons, so they can not just spam easy bull sht all day, then quit because they don't wana sit there for hours pressing atack button x9000. And because they know that that is what they did to win, they just chock every loss up to, "they spammed".
But with that being said, I do understand making theyre be less inputs, when the game is as complex as tekken inputs are, tekken is the only game I would ever say, okay maybe make inputs simpler. Just a few weaks ago, I tried king grapples, and I could complete them, but I know I will never pul them off in a fight simply because chaining a grapple takes about 8 inputs just to chain 2 grapples, and then on top of that, you must know the timing. The reality is, if you want to make a game as complicated as tekken easier, you would have to change core systems, and it is very easy to do that. All you would need is a neutral stance, and make every grapple return you to that stance, and then allow escapes, and other grapple inputs once you are in that stance. But when it comes to complicated inputs, some tekken inputs will end up hurting your hands eventually, you can not do tekken combos all day, you can barely do them for an hour back to back again and again.
Half the time when I play tekken, I play in a way that will not hurt my fingers, vrs playing in a way to do a lot of combos. I bring out the juggles and combos when I can tell the opponent is good, and sometimes I don't because I can easily tell when a tekken player will beat me. Any time that a player knows how to low kick parry. And neutral Parry. But in tekken what they really need to try and add is a city you can go into, character customization, and a story mode that has all the characters dying, craftable items, vehicles etc. I belieive the tekken devs have no idea what they are doing at all. Im not even suggestion it become an rpg, im suggesting that they add real game mechanics instead of fkn rage arts and heat modes, all that sht is dumb. It would be nice if in tekken you could have a city you raise money for by fighting in an arena, then you can walk around the city and fight random bad guys, thugs, players, on top of being able to destroy the entire city they are in. It would be cool, and the city could consist of like 10 tekken maps combined to make one city that is shrunken down a bit. Each building could have a up stairs, down stairs, destructable floor, and have the ability to upgrade the buildings using the currncy in the game. This is the kind of direction a game like tekken would go in, if it was a real fighting game industry competitor. Because they could still have this 30 year old played out tekken business model exist inside of a world like this, except it would be them not pretending to have destructible arenas, but actually implementing them.

@@pretzels7437 Well it is the simplest input system at the highest level of simple inputs. And I would never want to see something like Tekken be simplified to that level. But im not comparing them its just a point to how there is a place for simple combat, and Tekken is not that place.
@@BlueEyezKPOP lmao well its worth it if Majin ever sees it. But I just wanted to talk about how I feel about the direction Tekken should go in. Its lame to see them copy other fighting games, instead of actually developing something new for fighting games. Its pretty lame and stupid. Waste of opportunity. Pretty disconnected from the reality of game design.
