Trying to get my daughter to watch DK so she can see that girls/women can do this too and learn how to protect themselves. She's an excellent ambassador for the sport. How does one go about getting a younger daughter to just try it out especially when she isn't necessarily a combat sport fan?

3:51 She's really good -- I haven't been this impressed by a grappler since Mackenzie Dern -- but this move is hazardous. She practically put herself in a Boston Crab while going for the foot lock. Her opponent just needs to secure Danielle's legs and move her weight back and it's all over. Now, Danielle might get the foot lock before her opponent can do that, but it's still a big gamble, and getting caught in any kind of spinal submission like a Boston Crab sucks.
