2020 was a tough year for all, but for Chromebooks, it might actually turn out to be the year where it went mainstream. People are becoming more and more aware of what Chrome OS can do, and that they don't necessarily need a powerful Windows or Mac laptop to do their day to day things. However, not everyone knows all the tips and tricks that can take your Chromebook experience to the next level. In this video, I cover 10 of these tips.

in the CZcams app place your cursor on the playing video and use 2 finger gestures on your trackpad to shrink or go full screen but why can't you use the 2 finger gesture to come out of full svreen? or am I missing a tip ?

Great video! Being able to easily snap windows can save a few seconds!
Following up on a couple of these tips:
1. If you have multiple Chrome OS devices, your custom wallpaper will automatically sync across them.
2. When you have multiple languages all set up, you can easily switch between your current one and your most recent one by using Control+space.

@@JoJotheTechie Just to further clarify, and I’ve edited my original comment to reflect this, I was referring to multiple languages for your keyboard, not multiple physical keyboards. This is to clear up any confusion for the viewers out there.

Great video! Quick question off topic - I noticed you are wearing a lavalier microphone and I'm looking for one for my online meetings and classes. What do you recommend? Also, would I need software to filter the microphone sound for background noise or adjust volume?
Hi, in this video I'm wearing a very inexpensive lav mic which you can find here www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016C4ZG74. However, I've since then switched to a boom microphone only because my hair kept brushing up against the lav mic and making rustling noises, but the mic itself is pretty good. I also have the Purple Panda lav mic www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSKI46R.
As far as software, if you are in an area where there's a lot of background noise, I suggest using auphonic.com. It is web based and lets you clean up your audio for free. I think you get about 1-1/2 hours of audio free a month that you can clean up.

I gotta question. How can I access my webcam in my chrome browser it keeps saying I need permission? But where can I find it at so I can have access to it?
I changed the wallpaper on my Chromebook and the size did not fit right so i tried to choose option of stretch , center or center crop as i always used to but i failed to find that option after i updated my device to Version 94.0.4606.124.....please help.

Recently when I print from my chomebook to HP printer it doesn't print on the right side. I have never had this problem before. Anyone know how to fix it?
How do you get the dark mode on? Is it stable enough now?
It's stable enough in the beta channel, which is what I'm on. You just have to turn on the flags. I turned all of the dark mode ones on except the "force web content" because some sites didn't look right.

What software do you use for photo and video editing on chromeos?
For photo editing I use Canva or Pixlr. For Video editing, I cycle constantly between Android and Web apps. More recently I've been using Clipchamp.

Do you mean a webcam? If so, pretty much any usb webcam will work. They are plug and play. Logitech ones are pretty good.
@@JoJotheTechie no a digital camera lol I just got a canon and ordered a usb hopefully it’s easy transfer
@@monetsbraidroom oh yes. I have a Sony and I can download pictures/videos off of it just by using a USB cable.
@@JoJotheTechie ok great do you need to download any type of software?
I haven't had to for my Sony. The Chromebook reads it as a USB device so you basically get the folder structure and you browse to the folder where your media is, then copy/paste it to your Chromebook files.
your first tip is incorrect it's not 2 fingers it's 3 fingers on the track pad and swipe right or delete to switch between tabs
