- Thought I'd try something different, so this is the first video in a "Well I Never Knew That" about Nottingham series. I'm aiming to do 5 of these. First hurdle passed and the first is finally finished - second is already under development.
Most of the photos and videos were taken by me, although I have used some of the videos scattered around Facebook Groups etc as well.

When facing the Council House, Leo was known as the 'Left hand Lion' for Jessops (John Lewis) and Oscar as 'The Right hand Lion' for Marks & Sparks via Exchange walk.

Another great video thanks Paul. From a Nottingham lad now living in Manchester this brings back great memories of meeting friends and family near Oscar for over 40 years.

Ahh Leo and Oscar.. the meeting place for thousands of people over the years, i would use them as a meeting point either with mates before going for a night out, or girlfriends past,,
Come to think of it when meeting those girls Leo never rolled over, i knew there was a reason for those relationships never enduring the test of time 😂😂
