Love how in the shows intro Darly's eyes are all big cartoony and happy, and then in the actual show his eyes are tired and mildly bloodshot.
I like to think that in-universe, this show is a live-action animation hybrid where the locations are real but every character except Darly is animated. And Darly's eyes are like that because his actor is just extremely burnt out by this point.
@@tibby4503I doubt that because his actor/voice actor (Michael kovach) seemed really lively and excited. Michael kovach is still voice acting many characters. Perhaps is just gooseworks portraying the uncanny aura that the audio, animation and old TV give off. Not to mention in the description it is mentioned that it was a popular 90s kid show. To be fair, Milk Pooch was being kind of a jerk. In fact, he was so vulgar that every word he said was bleeped out.

The impossible physics, the strange landscapes, and that last shot was identical to something a saw in my dream on time. That’s probably why this is my favorite thing Goose has made.

Fun behind-the-scenes fact: the studio didn't have the effects technology required for the darly boxcar to appear to drive itself, so they hired invisible-o to drive the car when none of the characters were in it

Yknow small detail that shows that Darly Boxman isn't a bad person.
When Milkpooch is mouthing off at him, his first response is "yknow, we don't have to do this now if you're not feeling up to it." That recognition and acknowledgement that his fellow actor is genuinely not ok, even if it was only part of the show, is just really neat to me.

I really like the change in detail from Darly’s face in the title card and how he looks in the episode. The title card’s version had these big, approachable eyes making him look friendly but in the episode the eyes are dilated, tend to shake, and are pink making him look like he’s about to lose his shit

Darly strikes me as a wholesome character being corrupted. There's still that mostly-there veneer of wholesomeness and enjoyment, but it's slowly being scraped away bit by bit
I feel like this description would also work pretty well for Spamton. You can still see a fragment of who he once was, but when you meet him in the game, he's on the brink of insanity.
Judging by the disparity between his appearance in the intro and the show (mostly seen in the eyes), I believe that he has been doing this stuff for so long that the insanity of the world around him is starting to get to him.

Every single line in this is delivered PERFECTLY, especially "I wouldn't remember this if I were you." and how Darly's laughter at the lake over the hill loses substance so quickly and the "everyone get in the TRAIIIIN" is just. he sounds so done with everything happening around him
