Show Synopsis:

I love that "Gold Case" easily could have been saved by a small table but instead they just shut it down.
Or, you know, putting something worthless of equal weight in all the other cases.
Or having the gold be in a briefcase back stage with a piece of paper saying if it has paper or not on it.

I think WE CAN ALL AGREE Gold Case was a great idea for a game show...NBC just didn't know how to make it work.

30 Rock is probably where the writers got the idea for the Netflix show.

Premise
The show that got ported to netflix is """based on""" a comic that ran from 2000 to 2006 by Mike Carey, which was in turn a spinoff from the Sandman comic that ran from 1988 to 1996
There should be a show that's just 30 Rock fake shows for an episode each. Every week is a new one shot. Would be glorious.

Ironically the one fake show from 30 Rock I really want to see is the one they only mention but never show: the Roz based Frasier spinoff.

Gold Case could have worked if all the other models pretended to be holding a heavy case.

30 Rock was such a criminally underrated show. One of the best of all time imo.
its not underrated at all, it won multiple times of Emmy for best comedy series and other awards.

Liz Lemon on “Right On” pretty much foreshadowed how the internet would treat her after “Soul” and when she permanently pulled the blackface episodes from Hulu.
I don't recall there being that much of a backlash. What was unfortunate was how funny that episode was and then it was pulled. The whiteface and blackface makeup in that episode was a commentary on sexism and racism but of course people weren't smart enough to understand that.
