Tristan i don’t know if you’ll see this comment but I have all your merch and I’ve been watching you for nearly 2 years now and I hope you keep doing what your doing.
Being able to get this bouncy helps immensely in 5v5. It helps secure rebounds, contesting shots and of course, finishing over taller defenders. Very impressive considering the patience and effort required!
Dude huge thanks to you. I am right now 6'5" and only 15. I have a disease in my achilles tendon where it doesn't grow as fast as my shen and it makes it really hard to jump. I cant dunk so its kinda embarrassing being 6'5" and not being able to. These workouts I hope help me get to where I need to be to dunk so huge thanks for the motovation.
I got my first windmill at 19 at 5’10. I was the most unathletic kid you could even imagine at 12 years old. Taught myself hand eye coordination and jumping/jump training technique. I was so obsessed with dunking and getting my first dunk and I got it at 16 in ripped up Tom’s. My journey didn’t end there. I wanted so much more and I got it. I got my first windmill over a year and a half ago and it was the highlight of my athletic career. The dunk training is gruesome and very difficult but if you put your kind to something and put in the work and work your ass off you’ll accomplish feats that seem impossible today. I believe in any of you guys trying to dunk or literally anything in life. Keep working hard and the gains will come. Much love 🫶🏽🙌🏽
This man is amazing, in a tough spot myself so can only imagine how these people feel to be given a chance to help fix their situations, incredible keep doing what you do WSD
So cool to see you windmilling now and since my legs are back to being healthy, I'm back on that leg lifting grind to where I can hopefully do different dunks than my standard one
Great job TJ ! As a old short 5’10 and now 5’9 (lol) guy who loves basketball mad props to even dunking the basketball. Keep up the great work ! Have fun and stay safe ! Great video as always.
Man that 'you can do anything you put your mind to' got me chills for some reason . Have my papers these days and that anxiety is killing me. Great vid btw man you are a inspiration
T jass really proved me wrong.it might not be 10ft but he really is on the verge and accomplished something here.i remember commenting on of his yt videos that he will never he able to dunk but he rly did it❗️
I’m super proud of you T Jass. I am 6’5” and used to have goals to become a pro dunker. It took me a couple months to windmill and a couple months after that I got injured and haven’t really had hops like I used to. To see you getting up to a windmill 8 inches shorter is incredible. Keep up the good work and I hope to see that dunk package expanded
Congrats on your achievements dude. Im 5,9 as well but haven't been able to jump high since I gained so much weight. Any chance you release your jumping training? Would love to dunk on a 10 foot rim before I'm too old.
I’m same height I got some work to do I’m tryna dunk I just started back working out this just inspired me even more I’m workout 3x a week heavily on legs n upper body keep dunking n jumping You be catching bodies soon 💯💪🏾🏀Ball up TJ❗️
Not to spoil your progress cause you made gains FOR SURE, but the LA fitness rims are notorious for being under 10’, like around 9’9”-10’. I only say this to motivate you to get it on a TRUE 10’ rim just so you know you aren’t cheating yourself. I love how Jordan Kilganon measures every rim he dunks on cause he never wants to cheat himself
This is inspiring. I'm just a mid size white guy from Wisconsin too. I remember in the 90s they had the jump shoes. I tried those and a really tough workout video for increasing your vertical every day for 2 hours for 6 months, I barely made one dunk and then sprained my ankle after that in a game and just gave up.
Yo congrats bro, I think I'm right there with you. I'm almost hitting the windmill without a lob, but I gotta try it with a lob which is probably easier. You gotta come hoop in Green Bay sometime tho too.
Hey t jass. I really love seeing you dunking. And by that height I was so amaze you dunk like that. Hoping ur bounce will get more bouncier lezgooo.!!!! Peace from Philippines
This is crazy, to think that you 5,9” dunking, 😮 insane. Congrats man. I’m so close to 5,10” and can only like grab rim, guess I know what I’m working on!
I had that happen too, during my season I could dunk but it was inconsistent...took a month off after I had a little Achilles thing come up, came back, and started dunking well and consistently. Landed my first in-game dunk a month later
im 5ft5 in my younger days as a teen and early 20's i was able to rim check the ball even with the rim .it just seemed like i could never get those last few inches to get the ball over the rim … being 5ft 9 it is still impressive to get that high congrats to you. im in my 40's now so i feel my high flying days are way behind me … keep up your journey let them know even us small guys can sky ...
I am also trying to throw down my first dunk I am 17 and 5'9 as well I touched the rim once but stoped training and now I am going back at it again and just wanted to say you are a great motivation for me man!
