Watching Mac McClung effortlessly outshoot these homegrown hoopers reminds me of Brian Scalabrine's quote: "I'm closer to Lebron than you are to me."
Rs tho mac has played very well when given the opportunity. He dominates the g league yearly and he averaged 12 and 5 on good efficiency in 20 min last year. He 100% should be a rotational player and dare I say even an average starter. Tho I hear his defence is sub par which is probably what’s holding him back

I've been able to increase my vertical jump easily using an awesome program. I can't post the link here but you can find it on my channel
To anyone who wants to increase his vertical jump as well:
- Focus on exercises that target the muscles used in jumping, such as squats, lunges, calf raises, and deadlifts. Incorporate both bodyweight exercises and weighted exercises to build strength.
- Plyometric exercises help improve the power and explosiveness of your muscles. Include exercises like jump squats, box jumps, depth jumps, and bounding in your workout routine.
- Work on your jumping technique to optimize your performance. Practice jumping with proper form, including using your arms to generate momentum and landing softly to reduce impact.

Mac is from my hometown. I got so much respect for the dude and how much time he put into his game as a youngin. I’m a few years older then him but always loved watching him play. The dude has always had crazy bounce even in his early years of high school. Us locals became numb to the fact he was throwing down a fast break east-bay or a few crazy dunks while in game. He much more then a dunker, he’s got true game and can do it all. He is a bucket and ran through everyone in the VA state high school basketball. He just hasn’t had a solid chance at being in the league but with his skill set he could be.
Great guy he will get a chance the NBA just hard man its a business he has to do something to really really standout which I think he will for sure

I mean he is holding the record for most points in VA passing up Allen Iverson so you know he’s got the talent to score. I remember watching him as a freshman throwing down insane dunks. Trust me when I say the dude has always had crazy bounce even way before the internet saw his highlights. I truly think he could really benefited with another year of college before entering the draft but it was his choice. Think he will get his chance eventually at the league.

Crazy. Dude is legit and a great teacher. FYI, about not trying so hard. He's right. I'm 5' 10" and the only time I ever made it over the rim (wrist was above the rim) was when I was fighting for an offensive board and didn't even think about scoring. I made a one/two step then jumped and out rebounded my friends who had inches on me. I passed them by a full 4 to 5 inches length. They tripped tf out and told me they'd never seen me jump that high. The only thing I remember was not thinking about how high I needed to jump. I did feel the difference on the come down but it felt smooth. I think I needed to get out of my head for me to get the bounce needed.
