this is so on point. thank you!
I have a friend who wanted to resume friendship by referring to shared moments in the past etc. I agreed, but.... I see that he hasn't changed, and I quickly remembered why I didn't want to see him earlier. on the other hand, I have another colleague, whom I disliked very much at first, he irritated me terribly. we played together in a band. My dislike for him was so great that one day I told him that he had to leave. and here is where the strange thing happened, he left the band, of course, but he had no grudge against me, and he still behaved in a friendly way towards me. it threw me off guard so much, and at the same time impressed me, that to this day I consider him the coolest person I know. and of course we have a lot of fun together.

"When you stop making sense in the mindscape of an INFJ..." I can agree with that.

I'm an INFJ, and I once ended a relationship by saying, "There's no point to our relations" ))) So, yes, I totally agree with the wording.

As an enfp/ right on the cusp on introversion - I love many things about infj’s - however I found my self often desperately trying to appease certain world views often at the cost of speaking mind, I could see very early if I said something they didn’t like, their neck would get really rigid… but I could tell they also wanted to keep me around, could see that my character is good….
However there was than what turned out to be another infj that entered our small group ( found by the original infj)
I think they were so excited to have found another … but without going into it to much , as time passed, their values/ world views clashed terribly and I observed what I would call phycological warfare , they both tried at times to use me in what felt like triangulation … does this sound like something not fully developed infj’s would do to door slam the other out of a small circle?

They could just engage in conversation to understand people better not start mind shifting and staying mute and disappearing

How on earth is a non-INFJ supposed to figure out the intricacies of an INFJ’s world view so that they can return from exile? It seems that if they had that capacity they wouldn’t have been cut off in the first place because their intuition would have warned them of danger. And anyway, why would they want to return knowing the risks? Perhaps risk assessment isn’t a trait of the other types.

I'm an INFJ and I'm as forgiving as Jesus was. Someone murdered my friend, and I still told her I loved her, and I meant it. I still felt for her, for the circumstances that led her to that place in life, and I still offered her help and guidance. I have always forgiven everyone, and everything. There is nobody I hate. Everyone I have ever loved, I still love today, even those who betrayed me and deliberately hurt me. My love is unconditional.
I was really surprised when I heard about the INFJ doorslam because I couldn't walk away from anybody, even if I needed to.

To be truly forgiven by me, what I really want is for you to understand why I was hurt, and make an effort to change.
But I could never ignore a person if they were sad. If somebody talked about how much they loved me and didn't want to lose me, I'd break down crying and hug them and tell them I love them too. I'm all about feelings and could never ignore someone's emotions.
Though maybe that's because I care way too much to "doorslam" someone in the first place. And no, I'm not an ENFJ, I just have way more empathy and love than anyone I've ever met. I do know one other INFJ who is like me though 😊 I guess we just have much stronger Fe than most 🩷🩵💚

@@ShizuruNakatsu Totally understand what you mean. I am absolutely void of the feeling of hatred. I will forgive, rather I will not keep a grudge in the first place, I will just be sad and confused, so I will keep my distance from the person who made me feel that way just to protect myself from those negative feelings. Let's say, I will have trust issues with them forever ))

@@ivannastepaniuk9706 Yeah, I try to tell myself I'll never trust that person again, but I somehow always do. I'm just too caring and always want to believe in the best in everyone.
