Lawrence ROCKS!!! Been down with them since the Breakfast album!!! Y'all are ALL THAT!!!
Wow, love their music, I've never heard of them. As mentioned, I hear both the Randy Newman influence but I'm hearing some Amy Winehouse too. Thanks for showcasing them!
Yep alot of us have been supporting them for several years. They're quite the rabbit hole. We're all looking forward to their solo tour starting in the Summer. Got our tickets months ago cause they're selling out everywhere.
Wow! Lawrence the Band is amazing! I’ve never heard of them, but now I’m hooked!
Man, they're fabulous!
Loved today's episode! Love Lawrence! Just so incredibly talented. Clyde and Gracie's voices are insane!
Very entertaining show. Seeing them whip up a spontaneous rendition of “In My Room,” and have it sound that good, was like experiencing musical alchemy. The level of talent required to do that is belied by how easy they made it look.
thank you for having them on!!
Loved this episode! Thanks for having Lawrence on, they are so talented!
Wow, best episode in awhile!
Lawrence Band ROCKS! Omg I was blown away by them.
I'm sure howie can sing, he's holding back just sing whatever next time we'll approve it 100%
loved the show today!
I heard you've brought up Redbar a lot lately. You seem to be one of the only comedians who gets it and its fun to see
Good to see you Lou
Love Five Below 💯💥
anyone else at 31:11 wondering why he didn't also give Clyde a hug??? I mean his voice is equally unreal.
YESSSSS LAWRENCE
Good people
Ren would be a crazy talent to have on.
Recovering Lyme, immuno issues. Had a deal with Sony, got sick, lost it
Was going through physical and mental hell almost 10 years and street performed to make money for treatments and can rap, sing, sing Elvis.
His bands "the big push" covers of I shot the sheriff/road to Zion and black sabbaths war pigs is amazing.
Going from 50 cent versus to Elvis is wild. Lol
❤
Jackie is the cats pajamas, love the mask
Late to this episode, but these two are talents. Then Stamos just casually walking in
Hi Lou Howie and Jackie
looking fine as always Jackie
Stamos is rippin'
My cats sound just like gizmo.
Nice haircut
gracie with a starbucks cup -_-
Crap, I might be late...
Love the show and The Lawrence Band. Jackelyn I feel was rude and dismissive towards them. I get she has a child with immune issues, but multiple times she has stormed off, treated guest like trash. This episode she especially wasn't present during the podcast. " Can't sing in the morning because Grace is sick"...... " You want people to interrupt, do you want food"
Crap us puppets missed it
WHITE HUDSON
That hug was unnecessary
Nepo babies
With their incredible talent, they don't need their father's help.
Lets cut the bullshit. If you get $20 per ticket, times the size of an arena, lets say 20,000 seats. That's still 400,000 dollars you get for one performance. Saying that's "the hardest business to make money in" is just bullshit. Now you tour for 300 days, that's 120 million per year just in ticket sales. That completely ignores private shows and venues that pay millions for one night.
I don’t think the point was that you make no money from live touring. It is understood that most recording artist make MOST of their money from live tours, licensing, and merchandise since there is absolutely no money in streaming or record sales anymore. The point that I perceived they were trying to make was that the ticket sale industry is a scam and a monopoly. They should not be able to charge as much as they do and work with ticket resellers to earn more of a profit from fans.
Up until recently, Lawrence performed in venues under 3000 seats. They made approximately $10 -$12 per ticket. They have 8 people in the band. After expenses, they keep approximately $6 per ticket split 8 ways.
@@JackelynShultzYT agreed, but that’s not what was said here.
@@rmadler2007 they’re not struggling with money, they are nepo babies and have connections most musicians starting do not.
@@Naught359 When you don't know shit and pretend you do calling others "Nepo babies" when they've done the work and you haven't. Hilarious.
