Nintendo has officially revealed the true purpose of the Gamecube handles.

It's not that companies have to be like that, but the Reggie and Iwata days gave Nintendo a vibe, not just fun, but unique. And while the Wii U was not the console that was expected, they still managed to get a smile.

Wasting everyone's time? I can't imagine it either. The smoke and mirror show was definitely Wii/Wii U era Nintendo. Furukawa and Bowser are more like Yamauchi and Howard Lincoln. Not much on personality, but they did their job.

Oh Nintendo. Bringing back the old and mixing it in with the new. Don't ever change. They may make mistakes now and then, but I'd be lying if I said that they didn't make some of the best franchies I ever played.
Here's to hoping this year's E3 will be just as if not more hyped as last year's.
