Marriages is a heavy rock band formed by Emma Ruth Rundle and Gregory Burns, formerly of post-rock outfit Sparowes. They released their first project, an EP entitled ‘Kitsune,’ in 2012. This year marks the release of the emotional full-length ‘Salomé,’ Marriages’ true debut.

This live version is absolutely breathtaking. Truly a great performance. Emma is from another world.
It is a rare occasion, when one witnesses the growing intensity of a gathering hurricane and the elemental power of tidalwave-like emotion sparkled with the intricate beauty of ice crystals on top.
I was surprised to find the drummer is the singer for Drab Majesty. The drumming on this record is simply phenomenal. So glad I stumbled upon this band.

That's one of the best band discovery in the last months for me. the rhytmic section is insane, and so the vocals. Great quality of recording indeed, keep up with the good work Audiotree.

The Drummer (Andrew Clinco) usually wears a platinum blonde wig and lots of make up when he plays lead guitar and vocals for his other band(Drab Majesty). He changes his name to Deb,check them out theyre very good.

The studio version is in D minor, but this live version is tuned down a whole step to C minor :)

why do you think she is in to metal?regardless of her own personal musical tastes her music is crushingly emotional and intelligent. the Okeechobee music and art festival March 1-5 is coming soon, would be great to see some of the Sargent house band's on the stage this year.

emma is doing solo music right now far as i know "emma ruth rundle" it's beautiful but i really really like the ferocity that marriages clawed out of their instruments...

Just awesome. To pull off those songs live and do them so well. Some seriously intricate guitar work while singing - amazing. But the kids listen to auto-tune artists who need a team to write their songs for them
I was going through the comments earlier and I found this. Don't worry about us kids, I'm a senior in high school and I absolutely love Emma Ruth Rundle and Marriages. (Some of my friends do too.) There is hope for the future of music!
