On New Year's Eve, GothCorp industrialist Ferris Boyle wins the Wayne Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award at the New Year's Eve Ceremony hosted by Bruce Wayne at Wayne Manor. Just as the guests are about to celebrate, an explosion knocks people off their feet, also creating a large iceberg along with several people being frozen. Penguin's Henchmen enter just as a tall, heavily armed man in a mechanized suit with a freeze ray demands to see Ferris Boyle. Bruce searches for Alfred, but is captured by Penguin's Henchmen. Alfred is knocked unconscious when attempting to fight back, causing Bruce to snap and retaliate by subduing them all. Alfred watches over the guests, while Bruce enters the Batcave via the Wine Cellar. He learns that the man's name is 'Mr. Freeze' and Alfred suggests donning the XE Suit. Since it's not ready to be tested, Bruce dons the Batsuit. Batman makes his way back to the Manor, where the power starts to go off as the thugs start to torch the mansion. Alfred and the guests are recaptured, forcing Batman to save them all.
He attempts to rescue Ferris, but is frozen solid by Freeze, as Freeze had no quarrel against the Caped Crusader. Freeze kidnaps Ferris and escapes, forcing Batman to interrogate Penguin's henchman, who explains that Penguin's dealer may know his location. Batman finds many people in the city frozen. Scanning one, he manages to track down the dealer via the leaking cryogenic gun he was armed with. Batman interrogates the dealer, who reveals that Freeze made a deal with the Penguin to steal cryogenic weapons from GothCorp, in exchange for Penguin's help in kidnapping Ferris. Batman is confused, since GothCorp doesn't produce weapons. Using the entry codes from the dealer, Batman enters the building, where he learns that Ferris is being taken to the Propellant Research Wing. Getting the security codes from the main man in charge, Batman pursues them. Penguin has taken Boyle hostage and has betrayed Freeze, wanting the weapons he was promised. Batman intervenes, giving Freeze the chance to recapture Ferris and freeze everyone, including Penguin, although not before telling Batman that his threats mean nothing to "a man who has lost everything." Batman learns from Penguin that Freeze wants Boyle so he can access some kind of super weapon. Also, that the only way to break through the ice blocking the way through and containing Penguin in is a Cryo Drill that he has his men safe guard at My Alibi Night Club. Traveling to My Alibi, Batman has Alfred drop the XE Suit in a container onto the rooftop. Donning the suit, Batman breaks into the nightclub and fights off Penguin's men. Interrogating the last one, he learns that the Cryo Drill was broken into two pieces. After gathering the pieces, he discovers that the device requires a supercooled fluid, which is only found in Victor Fries' Lab at GothCorp.

Least by the end in Arkham Knight he gets a happy ending. In the Arkham series Mr. Freeze becomes somewhat of an Anti-Hero.

I think the Mr. Freeze Story was the saddest story of them all. He went so far as to turn to a life of crime to save his dying wife . Many people do this in real life, but to little success.

Arkham origins was an underated game!! Had the best boss fights in the franchise. Don't know why it didn't the recognition it deserved. I loved this DLC!!
Out of all the Arkham games origins was the weakest compared to the others. It wasn't bad, it just needed more polish in a lot of areas; animations being one of the bigger ones. Still, the story was as good as ever and even with its rough edges it still beats most action games out there.
hell I loved Deathstroke boss fight, was totally different from AA and AC
It was like 70% recycled arkham city. Gadgets are kind of the same, map virtually the same, a lot of similar side quests. Its like all they put effort into was the boss fights. Which to the games credit, were the best of all the games (arkham knight didnt even have any

If you go to the Deathstroke fight too early as a too weak it will be very difficult to beat him. It's too QTE. Also hated Bane on the rooftop, if you are in the corner and he starts running you cannot escape because Bane can go to full speed in inches.
Killer Croc was a joke (same as Knight), not scary at all.
Deadshot is much better in Origins, but it certainly can be too difficult to many as well.

Yeah, the animations focuses too much on the "oo" sounds and not enough on others, the lips don't close fully when they are talking so some sounds aren't physically possible, they're also super exaggerated, like how Bruce eats his entire lower lip when pronouncing "safe".

It was a great game. It even had an awesome online multiplayer mode that was sick af you could play as joker and bane as bad guys.

I honestly really don't care what people say. Batman arkham origins is easily the best in the franchise. Best boss fights. Joker and bane and every villain in the game were done justice and were done phenomenally. And the Batman in this game was brutal, I liked how aggressive he was. The story was great too, I just don't know why people were bitching. Just because of a few glitches? Really?
I swear all Arkham knight needed were dope ass boss fights like origins and it would've been a perfect 10/10.

It was the first one in the series to have the balls to change things up a bit.
I liked it to. I don’t think it was NEAR as bad as people said. It was fun. But I will always say Arkham city is the best one. Exploration. Story. Combat. It was all done so perfectly. The exploration in origins just wasn’t fun for me.

Still to this day Arkham Origins will remain my no1 fave of the Arkham series the story in this game was chilling terrifying and suspenseful and humourous at times also the story had tremendous amount of emotional weight to it I felt this was closely done with Arkham Knight to a degree love the channel dude would love to see a 4K-UHD on Arkham Knight and Assassin's Creed Valhalla when it's out lol
