This is a review on my SE Everyday BMX bike. I purchased this for the sole purpose of doing some BMX tutorials on my CZcams channel. The bike was only about $300, and has exceeded my expectations. Proper assembly is of the utmost importance, as even before I did my tuneup there were parts of the bike that would come loose and/or make noises. Now, it easily takes a beating every day.
I've seen this bike at varying price ranges. Usually at the end of the year when the new models/colors come out you can get it discounted. With that said, if you can buy this between 3 or 4 hundred, it's a good deal in my opinion, given how well built it is.

I was thinking about getting a bmx, and I found this one in a store near me so I decided to buy it. I have had it for 1 day and I can already do small buny hops (only about 3 inches). It is so far seeming to be a good bike, I am going to take it to my local skatepark tonight to play around with it in the bowl. Also it looks WAY better in blue (in my opinion). Also thanks for the great review, and for your other bmx videos!

I love my SE Bikes! I have 3, soon to be 4.
they made me fall back in love with not just BMX but riding overall.
I have a 2014 29er big ripper, the LTD ED 29" Santa Cruz Skateboards X SE Bikes Big ripper and a 2015 LTD ED Retro "PK Ripper".
I have customised all of them and was amazed by how easy it was, even on the bigger than standard 29ers.
I'll soon be adding a 26" OM Flyer to my collection. perhaps you might check one out at some point?
I'd be keen to see what you think about a 26" Cruiser BMX.

The "upgrade it when you break it" method is a good way to go on mtb as well. You can buy a lower spec'd bike, and you'll know what things need to be upgraded as you break them or wear them out. If they just continue to work, then you don't need the "better" part.
I enjoy the videos Seth, great content, well put together, likeable host.

I mean its pretty good with old useless bikes too. I have an old Land Rover KArnac and I binne dteh forks and bars and pedals which were all knackered and slapped on Federal red pedals, BIG cruiser bars from Surly and some cheap Hi ten curved MTB forks 90's style. Its turned a nice solid bike. With Hala SAS QR wheels haha, whcih are likely overkill but I'm a big guy so wanted something that would last forever. Its not for tricks, its actually gonna be my single speed bike packing bicycle.
Its a relaly comfy ride and thats teh main thing.

Im brakeless so i tore through the rear tire and replaced both with Sunday street sweepers and the bb kept becoming loose and a few of the ball bearing fell into the frame so ive since replaced the bb with a sealed one. All i need to do next is get some proper sized handle bars, the stock ones are a few inches shorter than most normal bmx bars

Isn't upgrading parts little by little a thing that happens in biking as a whole? I have a bike I got in 2K5 and literally the only thing in it that was stock as of today was the frame, and that one is also gone as of today (went off to warranty due to a broken weld, mostly since it's so old).
Still, damn good to know this BMX caters to that exact mindset :D More manufacturers should keep in mind that pushbikes are totally modular.

Any input on whether or not low budget Haros are reliable? I don't plan on anything serious, just dicking around. Maybe jumps and bunny hops, mostly just learning to manual so I'll be more comfortable holding a wheelie on a sport bike.

Would this bike be worth buying over building a bike. I looked into how much it would cost to build a bike and it's extremely expensive. I thought at least. Would this bike be worth it
