    PED's don't allow someone to throw one of the best splitters of all time.

    I met him in 2009 at the staybridge suites in Palmdale, CA. Really nice guy singed two baseballs for me and my brother took photos and talked with my family for about 30 minutes.

    He is still my favorite pitcher to play the game. He inspired me to play all and pitch. I threw a drop off slider and high heat thanks to The Rocket. I was scouted as a freshman because of my pitching style amd gift of throwing hard but my style was his. Often imitated but never duplicated.

    You both know why he's not getting in and that's because he is a degenerate cheater!
    Thankfully some American still have values morals and ethics they are willing to stand up for.
    I enjoyed watching Rodger Clemens as a teenager in the 80s. But I realize that Rodger Clemens just like Lance Armstrong would never have won seven titles respectively in their own sporting fields.
    I am thankful that Rodger Clemens, Barry bonds, Mark McGwire and probably 50 or 60 other players that she'd either be removed from the hall or never have a chance to enter the Hall of Fame

  • @markwoldin162

    I hate to say this because he was such a great pitcher, so intimidating so overpowering, but if I was there and could ask a question I would go straight to Mike Piazza. When he threw that bat shard at Piazza my jaw dropped. It was the most psychotic Act since Juan Marichal attacked Johnny Roseboro with his Bat. It would be very telling to see whst Clemens would have to say about that. I wanted to see a great game but the Umpire really blew it. Clemens had to be ejected immediately. It was actually worse than Zinedine Zidane and the World Cup against Italy because it was so violent and dangerous

    I went from 190lbs to 290lbs and just kept throwing harder. Maybe he’s the first guy that just keeps getting better as they got older, looking like a wrestler, or he was juicing. Everyone in baseball was juicing in the 90s. Plain and simple.
    Did jeter change much in 20 years? He filled out, but didn’t look like other folks that were known juicers.

  • @sirporkrib7643
    @sirporkrib7643 Před 4 lety +3

    To evaluate a roider fairly, you only need to look at his stats before PEDs. Before he signed with the blue jays, he had 3 cy youngs, 1 mvp, 5 AS, and no success in postseasons. After 1995, his age 32 season, he was rapidly deteriorating into a solid #2 or #3 starter, just as most power pitchers would. Had he not taken PEDs, he would pitch another 5 or 6 seasons, average some 3.6 era in his last few years, get close to 300 wins. He would be a solid first or second ballot HOF, but that's it. He was not in the same league with Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez or Greg Maddux. He wasn't amoung the GOATs before he got his hands on PEDs, so he is not the GOAT anyways.

      Mark Woldin It reveals his politics and is a rather desperate attempt to claim victimhood. I am not a fan of the Hall of Fame selection and election process and don't understand why so much input, influence and power is given to baseball writers but I wouldn't ever want to compare myself to Trump and Kavanaugh. To each his own.
