A social media manager’s job is multi-faceted, and primarily focused on managing all aspects of social media (community building, brand awareness, content scheduling).
A content creator is often someone who is mostly in charge of producing content for social media (content creation, video production).
I'm a freelance social media manager. Your videos have been super helpful in refining some of my processes, so thank you! ☺ I work with smaller businesses most of the time, so I create a lot of the graphics and copies that go with them. I prefer it that way though. I've bee an admin for ten years & narrowed my niche down to social media and graphic creation. Loving it!

I refer to myself a “freelance content creator & coordinator”, as I don’t manage the account (I don’t respond to comments, DMs, etc.) and I found that when I said “social media manager” clients didn’t understand what I was doing for them.
Is this different from the usual Content Creator?
Still here and this is helping so much. My drawback is that I am not 30 anymore. Feel it but am not. 2nd career yes. Trying to figure out the best angle for this biz if you don't mind putting up an episode for that it would be great. Thanks LaTasha.

Thanks for the info! I’m starting a new hybrid role with a realtor and will be filming, doing content creation and management and FB ads. It’s all new to me. I see major potential in this role, but deciding how to charge for all three has been a challenge. I appreciate your videos!

@@yunglion. I'm not freelance. I work for a company and have been doing the research into going freelance so I can make a living wage. I make about 25 grand a year after taxes.
Im in the same boat I’m going to quit I felt like they wanted me to be the whole marketing department it’s too much and I don’t get paid enough
