Curious here, hopefully someone can help me. When the game say is out of reach in the 9th or 10th frame & one bowler has already won that game, why does the other bowler have to still roll those frames???

Goat?? Obviously you're either talking about Earl Anthony or Walter Ray.

if you look at belmo's winning percentage, he destroys any other long term professional ever on tour. The only reason Belmo doesnt have 60 titles yet is because he doesnt compete in even half of the tournaments per year that walter ray and earl were when they were winning.

@@liambarron9772 And the only reason Earl and Walter didn't have over 60 titles was that each had over 30 2nd place finishes. That fact alone, that's a career for any other! Walter, consistency and longevity. Lots of tournaments? The man is a COMPETITOR!! As of 2019 115 total pba titles. Over a hundred 300 games. Pba player of the year AT 50! Granted, Belmonte is the best of todays crop, but best EVER?? Lets see what he does in the future. Lets see where he's at in his 40's, 50's, 60's. If he's still around.

@@sawnose4775 i think that level of longevity is kind of a strange metric, does a player just become top 5 all time if he earns one standard title per year for 40 years? To me, winning percentage is a way better metric because you can look at everyone from the same perspective once theyre an established player of maybe 8 or 10 years. And Belmonte finishes second an awful lot, most pros do since it's essentially close to 50-50 odds for who wins most of the time ignoring ball reaction and execution on the day. Through 2020, Belmo has won 24/195 events, and that winning percentage has only increased through 2022. 12.3% win rate is absurd when youre bowling the best bowlers on the planet, and bump that up to probably about 14% after 2022. Not to mention those stats take into account his lackluster first three years on tour where he only won 1/37 events, so if you look at it as win probability from 2011 until today, the odds of him winning an event are damn near close to 20%, and he obviously isnt slowing down. Meanwhile Earl Anthony went 47 wins out of what is 450+ events (having trouble finding an actual number). While thats insane, the winning percentage is still clearly less, at around 11%. Not to mention, the bowlers of Earl's time as a whole just were not as talented, objectively. While their spare games were fantastic, very few guys had form that could be considered athletic, and most of them wouldnt stand a chance in todays game.

Have to mention this: If it were Pete Weber in there, several fans would have been rudely called out and picked apart. Jason handled it with class and just smiled...shrugged it off. Congrats Bill.
