Thanks for watching guys, and thanks for all the positive feedback as of late!
Also, thanks to everyone who pointed out that the Ghost made it at least to Endor due to its appearance in Forces of Destiny.
good video eck
How about for the next scifi faction versus you do the Odonata Prime (from Warframe with lets say no special magic powers thing so just the abilities of the archwing and the default weapons it carries) vs a ship of your choosing (the best option would be a ship or mech that is also one man crewed). I'm curious how you would compare it to the other factions you have presented plus it would be an interesting way to introduce a new scifi faction.
EckhartsLadder great video. I am interested in the ships seen at the end of the Empire Strikes Back. There are a couple I cannot identify, and haven't found reference to out side of the ending scene.
EckhartsLadder . could you do the same thing but for the battle Endor, and zero hour in star wars rebels.
Which Faction Has The Best:
Support Frigate
Interceptor Class Star Fighter
Tactician
Hyperdrive
Armor Configurability (best camouflage for its troops)
Shields
Turbo Lasers
Anti-Vehicle Blaster Cannons
Anti-Personnel Blaster Cannons
Largest Peak Border Area (Territory)
Most Species in the Military
Gravity Weapons
Possibly expand to more than four factions at a time? Just ideas. Good video!
Can we just agree that the battle of scarif was really cool? The objective, events and participants were all really interesting
Yes indeed
better than the whole sequels tbh
They need more battles like that both fleet and ground objectives not like endor
@@polarisbear7468 you have forgotten battle on coruscant
@@user-vl5km7iq8y corosuant was prequels
Loved the way the Devestator entered the battle, just what I would've expected of Darth Vader's flagship
Possibly my favourite scene in the film right beside Darth Vader in the Profundity slicing up hapless rebels.
just stops and destroys a GR75 instantly.
Thomas Kross Vader is so badass even his ship enters in battle like badass
Vader and everything Vader related was generally very well handled in this movie!
Yeah
I can actually buy that Scarif was so lightly defended. Reminds me of Pearl Harbor, which was seriously devastated by a surprise attack because 1 they underestimated their opponents? 2. The idea of "they wouldn't be crazy enough to actually ever attack here."
Jacob Kleinsasser The thing about Scarif was that the facility was supposed to be a secret. Why send ships to defend something if nobody even knows about it?
Murican' Mapper maybe, but they never really state or imply that scarriff is a complete unknown.
Also - why not do both? The empire has resources of pretty much an entire galaxy at its disposal. Why not keep scarif a secret *and* have a huge fleet defending it. better be safe than sorry.
Martechi Falkberg try hiding an entire fleet. The rebel alliance would likely have spies and scouts all over and it would be very hard to keep a fleet hidden, then there are the logistical issues if food and supplies going to said planet. The rebels could hide their fleet because they weren't really hiding they were running. They would just got around to random locations so if the imperial did find them, but the time they arrived the fleet would have long ago moved off. Then there is also the rebel fleet was much smaller and easier to conceal.
Yes, hiding a fleet is difficult. But if the rebel alliance has spies and scouts all over, they are likely to find 2 star destroyers, a planetary shield, and a suspicious ground facility just as well. At that point, I'd suggest: Instead of trying to hide the planet altogether, disguise it as a huge imperial staging ground. The empire is bound to have military facilities all over the galaxy - so if you cannot hide it completely, disguise Scarif as one of the countless imperial facilities to at least give it proper protection.
As for the supplies - the empire clearly built major infrastructure on this world - an entire shield, all the ground facilities... it should really, really not an issue to have this *entire planet* supply a war fleet with everything it could possibly need. Yes, I know, the Star Wars Universe includes a ton of things that only make sense in its own universe - but saying the empire is unable to set up a sustainable fleet base on an entire planet is stretching it a bit far for me.
Man I loved this movie.
Really between Scarif and Yavin this must have shaken the Empire to the core that there was a serious resistance movement with potential to do some major damage
"The Alliance is too well equipped! They're more dangerous than you realise." - Scarif alone scared the hell out of the Empire.
YoU fOrGot ThE dEaThStAr!?!?!?
thats a battle station with a hyperdrive.
Hell yeah
Karnipex its a battle station not a ship

Oh, I thought it was a moon
The Space Battle of Scarif is the best battle in all of Star Wars.
Endor is a little better...
I don’t know about that one chief. In terms of visuals then yes
I too thought Scarif is one of the best! Probably the best!
1. Scarif
2. Endor
3. Coruscant
4. Yavin
5. Naboo
6. Star killer
7. Last Jedi
no no no no no
iether endor, jakku or countless clone wars space battles are better in my opinion
I could be wrong, but I think that Scareff was the biggest target the Rebels had attacked up to that point. At least that's the impression I got from the meeting at Yavn 4.
Ethen Allen What’s Scarerff and Yavn 4? They sound like ripoffs of Scarif and Yavin 4
Murican' Mapper blame it on auto correct
Don't get petty. Legends had larger fights, like Kamino and Turkana. Mostly they whittled ships down a little at a time though.
Chris sonofPear I did begin that comment with "I could be wrong." After all, I only know the movies.
I was talking to Murican' Mapper...
0:13 X-Wing pilots: "OH SHIT! OH SHIT! OH SHIT! OH SHIT!"
Trigger Happy lolms
I like how in EVERY battle, the reason the Empire loses is “didn’t shoot the fighters”
I love two Imperials from this movie :
"THOSE ARE REBELS SHIPS !"
"REVERSE ENGINES, FULL POWER !"
:D
You should do "Which SW Faction has the best Interceptor", with the A-Wing, the TIE Interceptor, the Z-95 (Or V-Wing), and the Tri-Fighter. Personally, I think either the TIE or the Z-95 takes it, as much as I love the A-Wing.
You can also do "Which Faction has the best Heavy Fighter" using the Rebel Y-Wing (Since you used the B-Wing for the Bomber video), the TIE Defender, the ARC-170 (Since you called it a "Heavy Fighter" in the same Bomber video), and... IDK, did the CIS ever make some sort of Elite Vulture Droid? Again, my vote goes to the TIE.
My final suggestion is "Which Faction has the best in-atmosphere ship". You can use the Rebel Airspeeders and the TIE Strikers, for the Rebels and Empire respectively, but for the other two, again, IDK. Maybe the STAP for the CIS?
I would go with the V-Wing for GRA interceptor. And I would go with the X-Wing over the Y-Wing for the heavy fighter/ strike fighter class. Y-Wing is a bomber. They say that in Clone Wars. For the CIS, the Rogue-class fighter would be the closest thing. Though they have only been used once in the Clone Wars movie. So not as wide spread as some of these other models.
CABRALFAN27 for the CIS heavy fighter could be the Magnaguard starfighter. Idk if it's good enough but it's just an idea
As far as the interceptors are concerned, the A-Wing is the fastest, as far as I know, so that probably makes it the best interceptor.
@@MandalorV7 The V-19 Torrent is my favourite interceptor
@@brianwesley28 speed is not everything. If you can only run straight you are a easy target - ask Rickon Stark ;) maneuverability is equally important and as far as I know the TIE Interceptor is superior there.
"We can assume that it's being piloted by Hera Syndulla and that it survived the battle, but neither have been confirmed." One has been confirmed in the new ROS trailer, woo!
Yay
Um in the Star Wars rebels finale they say that she fought in the battle of Endor
Also why is this video in my recommended lol
The Ghost definitely survived. It was seen on Endor post-'Return of the Jedi' in a 'Forces of Destiny' episode.
After giving it some thought, I think the reason why only 2 Star Destroyers were defending Scariff was because it was supposed to be a secret base. So they didn't want too large of a profile around it. Now this is only pure speculation, andthe movie itself may say differently. So correct me if I'm wrong, but this would explain why Scariff was lightly guarded.
However, even if I am wrong, the other reason, as explained by "From A Certain Point of View" is that the Empire has copies of the blueprints and records Scariff keeps, so the base there is only one of several holding the Empire's secrets, making it a smaller priority for defending.
Wolfgod 64 Scarif is where the project data was held exclusively, which is why Vader chased Leia all the way to Taatooine. That was literally the only copy left after the Death Star destroyed the facility
Really? Well even still, the only reason the Empire was panicking over the stolen plans so much was because they suspected Galen planted a weakness on it, not because it was their top priority to defend it. Regardless, I see your point. If it's their only copy, then they should've had a a few more ships present.
What would make the most sense to me would be to have a superior ground force rather than a larger fleet. After all anyone attacking the base would only do so to take the blueprints there, not destroy it as that wouldn't slow the Empire down. So they did well on that part as we did see a fairly large security force complete with walkers and tie strikers. Personally, I would also have an inquisitor or other force sensitive guarding Scariff as well, but I understand why a movie might not want to have that as it would just be confusing to movie only fans.
This is a slight digress, but I would've loved to see those security droids from Rebels come into play, the ones that mainly protect cargo ships. It would make sense for them to defend valuable information, and in space there were plenty of cargo ships coming and going, so it would've been cool if some imperial commander used the droids to board Rebel ships.
No one can say "only two star destroyers" with a straight face...
With the recanonization of Mount Tantiss I wonder if Thrawn is gonna find there a copy of all records from Scarif, he may resume work in a superweapon or something
Two Star Destroyers and space station full of TIE's is hardly a "light protection". It should be enough to hold largest Rebel fleet in place until reinforcements will arrive - which it pretty much did.
This channel is growing so quickly its amazing. I actually think you will hit half a million this year. LOVE your vids man. Theyr so interesting well edited and imformativ. Hope this channel stays as good as it is.
Jedi Temple Guards vs. Praetorian Guards,
I think that would be cool if you do another faction versus video.
(Edit: Maybe if it’s factions compared instead, you could add in the Shadow Guards for the Empire)
Master Chief Petty Officer YES
YES
Yeyes
YES
YES
Temple guard stomp praetorian guards couldn’t even beat one untrained padawan and a Sith apprentice when they had 4 to 1 numbers
A more fair fight would be one sister of battle vs 8 praetorian guards
or halo honor guards vs one of what u suggested
Joseph Burger You’re right, Elite Honor Guards would make a great edition ⚔️
The thing is...if the battle of endor was made in 2017 it would've been one of the greatest battles due to newer technology. Where as if scarif was made in 1983 it would still be good but not as good as if it was made in 2017. This is sort of why I like them both
I wactched rogue one today, and seeing this battle again just made me more disappointed in the of skywaylkers battle.
Steve Shumate rise of Skywalker?
Raymond no the of Skywalkers
Yeah, that Rise final battle was basically a fight in an overcrowded Walmart parking lot.
GBuster I’ve seen the movie and those fights, my only answer is yes
the of skywaylkers battle
Scarif wasn't lightly protected. At this point two ISDs are enough firepower to control a whole system. Plus hundreds of TIEs in the station plus the planetary shield makes a pretty good defense.
BUT: In the Novelisation it's mentioned that Scarif became some kind of resort for imperials with influencial families so they wouldn't be placed in actual combat. Which is why they lost the ISD so fast because the Commanders are incompetent and have no experience in battle whatsoever. Also they didn't expect a fully organised attack with aid from within.
I mean the rebel fleet got fucked anyway but with idk Yularen commanding the ISDs that battle would have been over pretty quickly as you can see with the Devastator basically destroying half the fleet in a few seconds.
Yup just send all the ties out to deal with rebel fighters along with the point defense turrets on the shield generator and then just position the star destroyers on either side of the fleet to make a kill zone for maximum efficiency
When the Devestator enters the battle the rebel fleet has been in non-stop action for about 30 minutes. Many of their vessels probably had damaged or depleted shields at that point.
UNSC invasion of starkiller base
What halo is that from it’s not ringing a bell
Aesthetic Decision United Nations space command (unsc) is halo tho
@@fitzgerald6466 uh yeah but u can still think of wut would happen if they were in the same universe
They would get absolutely shafted, easily. The Mac rounds would do some damage but the UNSC might not even escape with a single ship.
Edit: I just noticed how old this comment is, but still
I always wished I could’ve commanded the Imperial fleet at Scariff. I never would’ve allowed the Rebellion to destroy the Shield Gate.
You were too busy admiring art.
Piss off mate you couldn't finish off some blind dude and a little kid.
i love thrawn but the rebels show is just plain shit and its hard to enjoy him when hes surrounded by garbage
Dreadlord Sinister he wouldntve even let the rogue one inside the fucking shield
Alex Turlais your under arrest for treason
At the end when all the ships jump to hyperspace, I believe you can see the ghost leave, and in Tros you can see it near the falcon!
Notification squad!!!
Another great vid my friend! I really though that the tie striker was cool, too bad they didn't use it more.
#NoNotification Squadron reporting!
This is a RAID!!
Worst TIE fighter ever.
Great video as always. I didn't know about TIE Reapers, those ships only appear for a few seconds in the Ring of Kafrene and for dropping off Death Troopers on to the Scarif beach.
You missed out the TIE Shuttle, the TIE Bomber look alike which appears at the very end to transport Darth Vader and his stormtroopers to board the Profundity.
Love your content, Ecks! I can’t believe how big your channel has gotten in such a small amount of time.
+TWDdylan :)
There's nothing better than switching out of full-screen mode on CZcams while watching a different video and seen the new Eckhart video! It makes my day!
The Scarif facility was heavly defended. There are about 25000 isds in the galay, and there are 1.75 milion planets in the empire. That's on ISD per 70 planets! If you have two ISDs in one place, that's an important planet.
Iwo Rymer Whats the Scrif Fascility
+Murican' Mapper
Corrected. Do you feel the sense of pride and accomplishment?
Iwo Rymer Whats a fascility and acomplishment
I had to recorrect autocorrect about three times each on both of those words, FYI.
The problem is that Star Wars doesn't make any sort of remote sense in terms of scale. With the technology we see in the movies, the empire should be able to build thousands of star destroyers in every single star system, and death stars left and right wherever it wants.
But...this is star wars. The universe where entire armies are built of clones and droids, but then the empire decides having wookie slaves is a practical thing to do. It just doesn't make any sense
In the new canon (and in some EU sources I think), it's even stretched thinner! In Aftermath, it's mentioned that *only* hundreds of ISDs had been destroyed or captured and in ANH, Solo makes a comment about the Imperials not being able to destroy a planet; that it would take "a thousand ships with more firepower than I've...". Many people (probably wrongly) take that statement to imply that the Imperial Fleet actually had less than a thousand ISDs. It makes sense though. Most of the Imperial Fleet was apparently dispersed among thousands of other lighter ships like the Carrack cruiser (canon now), that would be more useful in interdicting worlds that didn't need a whole mile-long ISD to cover them. After all, a lot of those million worlds of the Republic/Empire were just small subsistence colonies and "settled dependencies" of major worlds that governed sectors. Hyperspace speeds could concentrate many ships in a small area is less time than you'd think, too. In ALL canons it's lamented by certain people like Thrawn that the fleet got screwed out of a LOT of materiel by the Death Star program, and that it would have been far wiser to sink it into ISD production. Unfortunately for them, the Sith at the top were running on pure religious ideology, not pragmatism.
Given that we see the Ghost at the end of Rebels after the Battle of Endor, I think we can say it's survival at the Battle of Scarif is confirmed. Now was it actually the Ghost? I think it was, as part of the Rebels storyline places it at the Alliance base on Yavin.
During film you can hear "General Syndulla, please report to the briefing room!" So she is on Yavin, before atack
Great video, it's really helpful for people not that familiar with SW lore to break down the contents of complex and busy events like this. Without this kind of video it's just a case of watching it and thinking "Oh those ships look cool". Great job as usual.

Um no. The Vong were kicking the New Rpublics ass and they were equally advanced as the Covenant and had Jedi helping them.
Banjo the pigeon They are not bigger. The Covenant were very small compared to most a star wars factions. And none of their ships were better in any way. The ships of the Covenant have not demonstrated anything above the ships of the New Republic
I feel so bad for that GR-75 that crashed into the Devastator
It makes me happy :)
@@renaissancenovice7202 Glory for the Galactic Empire!
That Scariff station was also very heavily armed, had hundreds of fighters, and the Death Star also joined the battle at the end. The Rebels were ridiculously outnumbered and outgunned when you consider everything.
The Ghost and Hera definitely survived since it is in the Battle of Jakku and it flies through Lothal after that battle with Hera and her son. It’s obvious because Sabine and Ahsoka are going to begin their search for Ezra Bridger, which we pick up on in the Mandalorian Season 2 and the Book of Boba Fett.
Wasn't Hera and the Ghosts Survival confirmed in forces of destiny?
Forces of Destiny is canon so yes.
Dankest of the Memes Lego That shits canon wtf
Also, i thought shes supposed to be on the ground on endor.
Also she lives through the freemakers adventure
Well the Wookiepedia says that she participated in the ground forces on Endor, so there's your answer.
Braha'tok ships have been around in the films since 1983 and this is the first time I've ever heard of them?
I'm gonna call Mandela effect on this one.
Well, the model wasn't considered detailed enough for close ups by the film crews, so they just tossed them in the background. One's also visible when the Falcon flies past a CR90 headon, and another in the distance when the Falcon skims along a Star Destroyer's hull.
That’s because it was barely used if at all before rebels season 3 and rogue one
The fact, that they actually included Braha'tok gunships is just an insane amount of detail and shows how much they cared about this. I would've never thought that we would EVER see them again on screen because even in legends they are a fucking rarity. But they even appeared in Rebels now and some major books!! The ship never got as much love as it gets right now.
The two star destroyers should immediately open fire at the rebel fleet once they have entered weapons range. If the Profundity is destroyed then the explosion would probably take out the Tantive 4 which is docked underneath her.
If home one was there. Trust me, it would not have been half as costly...
MC80 Gaming Ackbar may you Rest In Peace
Hes my cousin how many times do i have to tell everyone?
MC80 Gaming Man we're you the one who had a funeral for him since the Resistance didn't?
Stakuga The Undying yeah i dropped out of light speed near crait and picked up all his body parts. Then i cremated them. So emotional...
MC80 Gaming Must be cool having your cousin be Ackbar
Hera participated in the battle of Endor as seen in Forces of Destiny, so so it's confirmed that she survived.
My guess on why Scarif had mostly Star Destroyers and no cruiser or smaller ships is because this was one of the first major battles between the Empire and Rebellion. The Empire's biggest weakness (aside from the Rebels plot armor) was that they underestimated the Rebellion. They likely figured that IF (and that's a big if) the Rebellion attacked Scarif that it would be with cruisers and battleships and so that's what they prepared themselves for.
never noticed the ghost at 1:13 :0
oh man another video from my favourite youtuber here we go again
Formics home fleet (ender’s game) vs. the CIS fleet at the battle of Coruscant (legends material)
The Battle of Scarif was one of the most dynamic space battles depicted in SW to date. It showed how plans have to get updated rapidly updated as things change during a fight. Loved it!
Battle of Scariff, I think is a contender for best space battle of all time. I think the Death Star run in A New Hope edges it out but Scariff was masterfully done. Easily beating out the battles of Endor and Coruscant and I don’t think any space battle from any other movie series comes close to any of the Star Wars battles. Switching gears I’d really love to see more comparisons with Warhammer 40,000 lore, specifically comparing forces like Imperial Stormtroopers to Militarum Tempestus Scions. I’m sure Spartan II’s and Colonial Marines from the Aliens series would compare as well. Keep up the great content and thanks for all the awesome videos.

I just logged out and didn't see it lol.
1:11 - 1:15 you can see the Ghost (Rebels Tv show ship)
As clearly mentioned in the video lol, can you not hear?
I love the moment when the Rebel fleet emerged from hyperspace in strength and the Imperial officer to comment "Those are rebel ships !" You don't say ! :D
More fleet vs fleet battles! Friggin’ love’em.

What Every Imperial officer dreams will happen.
What actually happens, X wing shows up, Hits its targets and disappears into hyper space before the half dozen ties are launched, 3 tie pilots Go awol and join the rebellion, 2 die in a collision and one suffers technical difficulties and drops onto the hanger floor.
Between the Battle of Endor and the Battle of Scarif, this one was the best. The Profundity is my favourite ship from Rogue One.
I think the post-Disney canon consensus is that the Empire was both stretched ridiculously thin and made its lack of manpower even worse by focusing so heavily on large capital ships simply because they were more intimidating individually. The Imperial Starfleet faced no enemies capable of matching an Imperial I/II, much less an Executor while an Imperial’s mass worth of Arquitens could have patrolled eight to ten systems while an Imperial could only be in one place at a time.
trr94001 The post-Disney canon? So that's the movies made before Disney bought Star Wars versus the movies made after?
Do every rebel ship at the battle of kuat
Wonder if the Ninka was there, or the Raddus (under old name) ?

It is confirmed that Hera Syndulla and the Ghost do survive the Galactic Civil War and so Scarif, here:

Which is canon.
We also learn to know that Han and Hera met before Endor.
I havent read all the comments so if this has already been stated please excuse the redundancy.
wait, forces of destiny is all canon?
no because how does adult ahsoka hang out with padme.
LaboonTheWhale No it is

Favorite starfighter battle next to Endor. A New Hope will always hold a special place in terms of being revolutionary and blowing me away for the first time. But in terms of eye catching fun, Endor and Scaif win.

- Eck, you are probably my favorite Star Wars channel on CZcams. I've been with you since your first few videos and your editing and music have always been the highlights of your channel for me. I'm glad the Star Wars community is so tight and so supportive of you. Also...YOU GOT VERIFIED!!!! So happy for you!
- Hands down best space battle ever seen was the Last Jedi but if we're going Scariff vs Endor, Scariff definitely wins.
___I want a Starship Versus please!___
-Can we see an MC 80 Liberty vs. an MC-85? (NO HYPERSPACE RAMMING!!)
-Either that or the Supremecy vs. Yuuzhang Vong world ship?
-Or mabye the Supremecy vs. the Covenant Super-carrier?
-Maybe the fleet at Jakku vs the First Order Fleet in TLJ?
I guess the base at Scarif was protected by a shield gate that multiple bombing runs couldn't even scratch. Nothing the rebels had at the time could rival a single star destroyer let alone two AND a powerful shield gate. So the base was defended well, but the star destroyers weren't if you get what I mean
ORS Heavy cruiser vs Resurgent battlecruiser
Since the Forces of Destiny shorts are canon, Hera and the Ghost made it out of the Battle of Scarif since we see them on Endor with Han and Leia after RotJ
Tom Diderot yup i was thinking the same 😅
They're not canon, I think. Only Rebels , CLone Wars, and other films are.
MiguelPpM they are canon, and way more than that is as well.
A tactic used by the Empire was to deliberately have smaller defense forces to mask an installation's true importance.
1:12 The Ghost was an awesome addition.
All ships at the Battle of Jakku
Could Reach or Coruscant survive a Zerg invasion? Galactic versus.
I was sad, but your video made me happy :)
finally saw this everything was one point but for one line, scarif was a secret base and would therefore use its secret nature as its own level of defense. having a large fleet defending it would have made it a known target of importance as opposed to some random base.
Praetorian Guard (the last jedi) vs Elite honor guards (halo)
Spartan Abrams which type of guard would it be? I mean with which weapon type?
My ding ding dong oh I meant the Star Wars guards
well the weapons they used in the last jedi
The Elites turn invisible and pull the Praetorian's heads off their shoulders one at a time.
I think they ran this through empire at war, then made that into the movie
ragingspacehippo oml I love eaw
Honestly, that would be great idea for the filmmakers
One of the best, if not the best space battle
The Battle of Scarif is easily on my top 3 favorite Star Wars space battles.
The Ghost and Hera survived to after Endor
Stakuga The Undying oh right, from the short
EckhartsLadder if u listen closely when they are at the base on yavin 4 heras name is called out in rogue 1.
they're talking about endor. not rogue 1
Why didn't they just use hyperspace and destroy both destroyers with a couple programmed xwings?
X-Wings don't have sufficient reactive mass, and pinpoint precision is tricky in jumps.
Obviously they should have just hyperdrived into the shieldgate
Again, people forget that hyperspace ramming pre-dates The Last Jedi if you count EU. Three ISDs dropping out of hyperspace rammed the Executor and it survived with minimum damage thanks to the power of the shield. It got owned in Return of the Jedi because fighters entered the shield and blew up the generator.
Hyperspace ramming was a beyond idiotic idea and it was embarrassingly not well thought out
"Ah fuck it, let's just talk about Rogue One!!"
"X WIIIIIIIIINGSSS"
Im not gonna lie, I was an OG sub who left for awhile, but i'm glad to be back. keep this good content rolling man!
+King Of Crows glad you're back
If the Rebels had simply used a few X-wings to Hyperspace ram the Capital Ship and Station, the battle would have been over in just a few seconds xD
SinerAthin that is only really possible with a Mon Cal type ship, in the novelization of TLJ they say that there were systems in place that enabled the overdrive
I wonder if their are any Imperial I fan in the comment section lol, they are my favorite ship in the Star Wars franchise and Rogue One gave them a bit more screen time.
I like 'em well enough. Finding a model is next to impossible though, as ISD 2s are so widespread.
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE
Hera and raddus would of been one sin charge if hera was there offscreen
Love the vids man, had an idea pop into my head for a possible future vid - which star wars faction had the best economy

The director did a fantastic job in capturing the spirit of star wars. I believe he saved it! I was better than the Battle of Endor, easily. I have three favorite SW movies, NEW HOPE, The Empire Strikes Back , and Rogue One. I'm hoping SOLO is added.
I think the battle of Jakku is the Coruscant of the Civil War.
The battle was honestly the best part of Rogue one but...I’m gonna be one of those few people here that thinks it’s the 4th best battle ever put onscreen. The best is still Endor, followed by the Death-star, then the Invasion of Coruscant. Those battles that were worse then this were the battle of Naboo, Starkiller Base, and then the Last Jedi Space battle which was really just a joke. :/
Anyways I hope you understand my point and now onto my suggestion.
Best Ground Armies/Vs:
The Republic Clone Army (Star Wars)
The UNSC (Halo)
The Imperial Guard (40k
GDI (C&C series: preferably Kane’s Wrath)
The Grineer (Warframe)
And the Terrans (Starcraft)
Pyroskies TLJ had a space battle?
Jokes aside, they ruined the chance for a real cool battle by nuking the hangar.
Also killing Tallie, and wasting another character.
Xion Memoria agree, they probably only did it to justify fucking over Poe even more. And that’s just one of the many problems faced within the Last Jedi, the biggest problem being it started instantly after the force awakens.
Pyroskies They ruined Poe. They disrespected Akbar. Quite honestly Akbar should have been the one to do the hyperspace jump!
Fuck, Poe vs Kylo space fight with Poe winning? That'd show that the Force can't beat pure skil- wait can't do that or we say Rey should have lost!
I need to stop or I'll rant X_X
Xion Memoria I understand ya and agree. The worst part is that the Last Jedi might be the nail in the coffin for Star Wars as it is due to destruction of continuity and outright disrespect it does to the series.
Pyroskies Mistreatment of our childhood heroes. Disrespect for new characters, waste of potential.
The Last Jedi indeed...

A superior episode (relative to an older vid). Smaller topic; more comprehensive with graphic aid. Please, sir. Can I have summore?
It's also important to remember that up to that point, the Rebel Alliance was all talk and no action, and had not yet dared to take on the Empire. This was their first real fleet action where both sides brought "big steel", IIRC. So it makes sense that the Rebels showed up with an anti-starfighter doctrine, and the Empire was guarding with anti-capship doctrine. They were each thinking about how *they* would fight.
Of course, over the course of the civil war neither side adapted much.
About the Ghost pilots, after watching the end of rebels(Stop reading if you don't want spoilers) it says everything that the crew did (Anything after the rebel finally was not recorded) but after using context clues the crew most likely was Zeb, Hera, Sabine, and former ISB agent Kalus
The Ghost and Hera did survive/escape the Battle at Scarif, because in the last episode of Rebels, Sabine says that Hera fought in the Battle of Endor and the Ghost is shown in the ending scenes.
I really liked this space battle, probably the best in Star Wars to date. As a prequel it was true to the time period, it had a sense of urgency about it, you cared about the characters including Raddus and the sacrifice of the Lightmaker crew who gave us that epic crash scene. Darth Vader at the end was the icing on the cake. A really great ending to a good movie.
Nice vid. I really like the battle of scarif as it's one of my favorite star wars battles
Once again a great video! Eck can't wait to see what the next video will be!
I wish they wouldve thrown in some more ship types. At least the Dreadnaught class cruiser for the Empire, and maybe a relic Munificent for the Rebels wouldve been really cool to see facing off against the ISDs.
I think the garrison at Scariff makes perfect sense. The galactic empire was vast, so tying up 3 star destroyers for defensive garrison duty is quite the investment of resources. In addition, an attack on Scariff made no conventional military sense. The rebels ultimately lost a lot of their force, and the only thing that made it worth it was finding the flaw in the Death Star, something that the Empire wasn't even aware of.
From a storytelling standpoint, this may be the best battle in Star Wars cannon, and if it wasn't for the characters of the original trilogy and nostalgia, I don't think it would even be close for me. There's a lot of logic why they're there (the entire movie builds to that moment) and there's not too much plot armor.
Wonderful battle! Really well directed. I cant compare between this and Endor as Endor I saw as a child and therefore is seated in a semi-magical realm of child-like fantasy. While I will say that this battle brought me closer to reliving that feeling than any battle in SW franchise since my little mind was blown away during that amazing battle over Endor all those years ago...
