Advise people to take pictures of where cords are located even before you take the cords out because I got confused on which stations were not supposed to have a cord in it as well as which ones were supposed to fit in their positions higher than others. Had to pause the video to make sure mine was identical.
Thank you very much for this :) I successfully replaced my control board and got my washer working. It was also a WFS1073DD that another user mentioned previously in these comments - the one you said you couldn't locate. It's an Australian Whirlpool model with terrible reviews and a control board that is highly prone to failure. I'm not surprised to see other comments related to this model. Ours failed after about 5 years.

Hi,i started to change new control board(power board),it can on but when i start running my board,it burned the fuse in control board(located near incoming cable).the fuse rated on 6A (volt will check again).So what the posibble fault component it could be?
After installing the control board like in the video, put it all back together, selected my setting push the start button, I hear two chimes and nothing happens, all help is appreciated.
When I press the start button on my washer, it starts, but then it immediately stops. No error code . . . it just flashes the 50 minutes left on the cycle that it started with. Sometimes the door stays locked and I have to unplug and reset it so the lock disengages. Other times I can press start again and it will run a full cycle. Other times it runs just fine. But it is getting worse all the time. Is that the control board? It is a whirlpool duet washer model WFW9550WW00
This video worked great on my Maytag 4000 series washer. I replaced the control board and then got an F99 code. Can you tell me the next step I should take to get rid of the F99 code?

I have a Whirlpool Duet Washer Model #wfw9151yw00 Front loader. I have been watching your videos and I thank you for them. But...I have replaced Door latch/lock, Now bellow that took 2 days and 3 people to do. Still getting the f9E1 error code. I've noticed that if I click on different settings to like drain the water again, nothing happens. I've cleaned the coin trap, hose, black rubber thing that goes with coin trap filter. there are no noises with the pump itself. I'm a 63 yr old ill woman with a bad back to boot. But I'm ready to get my sledgehammer out and make my own video about how to fix this machine. My friend said it showed a SD which I had learned before is "Slow drain". Then the F9E1 again. Ieaking on floor has stopped with new bellow, thank you. But what else? Change Control Board? 3 weeks w/o a washer. Please, Help Me!!! PS when I had the water to the washer turned off and went to bed, I woke up with a flooded house. When I rehooked up the washer the leak seemed to stop. Just trying to put out there all the issues it could be.

Hi Thao, when researching the error code F-28 for your model, there is a communication error between the main control board
and the motor control board. I would suggest checking the wire harness connections between the main control board and the motor control board. Check to see if there is any loose wires or any damaged done to the wires. If you don't see any damage, i would then suggest checking the connection between the door switch and the main control board. If you have a bad door switch it can block the motor board from getting power.
thanks for the respond, I have checked all the connector between MCU and CCU(unplug and reconnected) and still see the error, I will look into the door switch...thanks
can this be done via the front or rear in the event the dryer is stacked on top?
Thanks for the question, Jim. On this model washer if the unit is stacked the dryer will have to be removed from the top of the washer.

Hello, if your appliance is flashing and error code most of the time the error code is to replace the control board.
@@partselect Explain to me how a control board can go bad? I can see maybe a loose wire from the spin cycles but how does a control board really go bad??
Got the error code \\\"Suds f35\\\" whirlpool duet steam. cleaned the pump, full of trash, work one complete cycle. Next load error code again. clear pump and it ran a complete again. When my wife needs to wash a load I just clear the pump and it works, Is this a bad water level senor or what.

The problem could be related to the the start switch, motor control board, or main control board.
I have the same problem as above with the same machine. I press start and it locks the door and seems that it will start. I leave it for an hour or so and when I return the "done" light is just flashing but nothing has happened. The door is still locked and I have to turn the knob to the stop position and wait for the door to unlock. Have tried the spin function as well and it just stays on spin but nothing happens. Do you think it is the display panel that needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
