- 8 Footballers Who Had The Last Laugh
It's a long known fact in life that whoever laughs last will laugh best and this also applies to football. Some players who were wronged by clubs, managers or even fans have gone on to have the final say and put the battle to rest. These are 8 such players.
We start off with the most recent addition to this list, Jadon Sancho. Now a Champions League finalist with Dortmund, no one could have seen the absolute 180 his career has undergone this season. Starting it with Manchester United, the Englishman had a very public falling out with manager Ten Hag when he refuted his comments on him after a game. He then went a step further and refused to apologize, leading to his immediate removal from the first team group, not even allowed to eat with the team. With the two sides at a standstill, the best choice was for his exit on loan in January to his old club.

Dembulance knocked his former club (Barcelona) out in UCL with 2 goals, but still get knocked out by another former club (Borussia Dortmund). That one is hillarious!
You just roasted my club (barcelona) for 5 minutes
Not an easy journey for Lionel Messi.
After all the pain, after a lot of hard work, after a lot of tears, losing and losing again, but still he never give up on his dream.
And now he prove the world he's deserve the trophy.
He dominated the World Cup 2022, scored 7 goals, had the most assists, most man of the match awards and received the player of the tournament award, even though he is already 35 years old.
Bro he's 37
the most corrupt world cup is football history. Sepp Blatter, michel platini arrested and charged for corruption. Qatar world cup was corrupt way before it even began.
@@hhh491jigga he was 35 during the WC
Eric Ten Hag is pulling his hair out after watching Jadon Sancho & Borussia Dortmund advance to the 2024 Champions League Final!!
He does not have hair

This comment aged really well huh
i swear though Sanchos case is a bit roo cold
Getting rid of De Gea was probably the worst thing to do. Glad he didnât have to suffer with them anymore
Granted he did make mistakes but no player is truly perfect. Right now DDG is probably though of as United's Sepp Maier as opposed to Onana who turned into Karius 2.0. Liverpool fan btw
Sancho had the best laugh đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Sancho is having the biggest laugh right now
It sucks to see my favorite Manchester United player get disrespected by them. but he proved he can deliver on the field with Dortmund reaching the Champions League Final doing so
Utd fans (Me) ''You never miss something until its gone''
Dembele was treated like a king at barca and treated them like pigs, Onana is criminally underrated.
Sancho didn't assist goals in the first leg?! It was schloterberg
He would've assisted multiple goals if some of the Dortmund players didn't have cement in their boots. And the amount of dribbles he completed was Messi-esque. I still can't believe Ten Hag suspended this player for half a season.
Sancho would probably let Rashford touch his ucl medal
Edit:wow this is the most liked comment I ever got can we reach 1k
Loool...that was wicked
Sancho didn't' assist the fullkrug goal it was schlotterbeck
You mean runners up
â@@victorchukwugenem2390 real Madrid are second leg miracle makers , the final has no second leg, Dortmund will shock y'all

1. Reus gets his reward for staying with Dortmund for so long
2. Sancho can laugh at Ten Hag more
Lionel Messi winning the World Cup 18 months ago really shushed up all of the critics whoâve tried to downplay his achievements. As iconic as his footballing career was at club level, there were people that pushed an agenda that Messi canât be the GOAT until he wins the World Cup. From 2014-2016, he lost 3 consecutive finals with the Argentina national team and many people were finding ways to criticize his international career saying that heâs nothing without Xavi and Iniesta a systems player at Barcelona, heâs not a leader for his country and was carried by superstars. In 2021, he won his first ever trophy with the Argentina national team which was the Copa America he was the best player in that tournament, he won the Finalissma where they beat Italy in the final the team that won the EUROs as the best player in that game and then the cherry on top of it, the World Cup. He finally won the World Cup and on the biggest stage of football at the age of 35 he was the best player of that tournament. He played for PSG yet beat France the country of the club that he played for in the final.
Again, people are downplaying his World Cup win, saying that the World Cup was rigged he didnât deserve the Ballon Dor because he won a 7 game tournament and he was just a âpenalty merchantâ throughout the tournament. First of all, the World Cup is the most prestigious trophy in football and while the champions league is very important, the World Cup is once every 4 years meaning that as good of a player you are you only have a couple of opportunities to win the World Cup or quality for it in general. For football itâs great that he won it even if fans think that it wasnât deserved and I donât see how it was rigged because the ref made the right decisions in awarding the penalty he didnât do anything wrong. People will look at the numbers and say that half of his goals were penalties, he was 2nd in goals and 1st in assists as he was among the leaders in both goals and assists and he was responsible for Argentinaâs attacking output. Anyone who watched the games with their eyes would know how influential Messiâs performances were in that tournament and for those who way that Mbappe has a better World Cup than Messi itâs 50-50 to be honest as he did very well too, but Messi had a slight edge over him because donât forget that Mbappeâs hat trick in the World Cup final 2 of those goals were penalties and while Messi was the main man for Argentina, thereâs an argument to be made that Mbappe wasnât even Franceâs best player throughout the tournament as Antoine Griezmann was their most important player. Lionel Messiâs World Cup win in a much different system proved that he can win big trophies without Xavi and Iniesta by carrying the team on his shoulders while also being a leader as everyone in the Argentine national team were doing it for Messi. He silenced all of those critics who were trying to label his international career overrated.
do this for ronaldo as well , i want to read your comment

Sancho is on fire đ„
1:18 Ousmane Dembele have knocked out Barcelona out of Champions League but ends up knocked himself out by his old club before Barcelona,,Borussia Dortmund. What a great turnaround by the Snake đ.
great video from goal 90
Sancho s story continues to prove that Manchester United is a poison chalice and the best club to go to if you want a screwed career. A Joke of a club and a stain on the league.

Missed out on CR7, bro was benched by Ten Hag, but when on to score 40 goals every season for Al Nassr, and probably winning the euros this year

ETH calling back Sancho just before the UCL final just to prove his point would be MAD đ
As a Man United fan i pray that Sancho should have the biggest last laugh by wining the CL.
A silver medal is enough imo. It's a very tall order to beat Real Madrid, 14-3 in UCL Finals.
@@theemotionalremix your dream of beating Madrid 14-3 is impossible but a medal for Sancho is good
@@babalagfu5390 I was talking about Real Madrid's record in UCL Finals đđThey are 14 and 3, which means 14 wins and only 3 losses. So it will be difficult for Dortmund to beat them.
Sancho be like you loan me I make you pay
Jadon Sancho has been playing Manchester United all along. He is the who won his fight with Erik ten Hag. Refusing to apologize to him was probably the best decision he made. It was obvious that he took the easy way out of Manchester United knowing full well that he didnât want to play for them as he had the easiest job ever which was sit at home do nothing not play and get paid over 250k a week. He was just getting easy money chilling and doing nothing at all and he avoided all of Manchester Unitedâs embarrassments in the premier league and the champions league this season.
From August to December he played only 76 minutes of football for Manchester United before making his return to Borussia Dortmund in January. He shouldâve been part of a Manchester United team that lost 4-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, but 24 hours after that defeat, heâs now in a champions league final for Borussia Dortmund. From frozen out of the Manchester United team to champions league finalist at Borussia Dortmund. In the final theyâll play against Real Madrid and we know how inevitable they are in this competition let alone finals, but the fact that heâs in the final and has a chance of winning the Champions League after all of this, it just tells you that Manchester United are a graveyard club for players nobody wants to play for them and be a part of their âtoxic circusâ and it makes them a laughingstock. These mercenaries donât want to do anything because theyâre on big money and it tells you everything wrong with them at the moment and how poorly ran they are. Heâs in a champions league final with Dortmund, Manchester United are 8th place in the premier league meaning that they wonât get any sort of European football next season and also their manager is on the brink of getting sacked.
ONANA has been bad in ucl but in prem he is playing well but the defence is where we are lacking
You should probably take dembele off this list, because he's was pure calculative deception.
Next should be managers who had the last laugh
Dembeleâs one is just pure betrayal
De Gea may not have the last laugh since he is still a free agent right now
Bro thought he could sneak messi in there
Maybe Kai Havertz should have been added to this video after the 5-0 against Chelsea
90 goals

hope david dea gea should get a big laugh aganist man united.
but i am feeling sad for dea gea.
There was no need for Messi here
dembele has been bad other than the Barca game

Barcelona fans are mocking Dembele for getting knocked out of the Champions League by his former club Dortmund, but they donât have a right to be laughing anyways. Dembele got the last laugh. For many years at Barcelona, he was basically using them because he was struggling with injuries every time he was on the pitch heâll be back in the hospital it was a recording issue and the club supported him through all the injuries he picked up. Last summer, he surprised them by joining PSG and whether he joined for the money or another reason, remember he had a 50 million release clause in his contract and because he joined PSG, heâs a hated player among Barcelona fans they see him as a snake mercenary and a player who only cares about money nothing else. For Barca fans making fun of him for being knocked out of the UCL, you have bigger problems than that. Anyways, Ousmane Dembele dunked on his former club by scoring home and away against Barcelona celebrated against them and he knocked them out of the Champions League. I donât see why Barcelona fans are laughing because youâre gonna go trophy less and the player who used to play for your club knocked you out of the UCL and remember this is the same Dembele who has scored 3 goals in Ligue 1. Barcelonaâs biggest problem this season has been injuries and you know how much of an issue itâs been for them especially when Dembele has stayed fit all season at PSG. Hehe spent so many years at Barcelona missing games consistently and his body was made of glass, another reason why he has the last laugh is because heâs been injury free all season at PSG.

Black men are the greatest players on the planet right now
Honestly donât know how Sancho âhad the last laughâ It wrongfully assumes that a managers hope for a loan is that it ends in failure. It kinda proves him right for loaning him out, if he doesnât play well for man Utd then he can see if he plays well for someone else. If a player isnât good at a certain team or playing under a certain manager a move is obviously the best move. I am a United Fan and am glad Sancho is going to play in a Final as it gives our club quite a few bonuses from the loan deal. I assume Ten Hag is happy with this as well, he has said as much. In all honesty Sanchoâs Loan at Dortmund on an individual performance basis hasnât been all that. He has played around 20 games with only 3 goals and 1 assist in a competitively inferior league in comparison to the Premier League. Sure he did really well against PSG but that is really the highlight of his loan. The reason he performed so well in those 2 matches is due to the openness of PSGâs defense which left him with a lot of space. At the end of the day I hope Dortmund win it and Sancho has a good career, but it doesnât change the fact that Sancho was Very poor playing for us and needs a transfer.
Stop assuming the Premier League is superior to the Bundesliga. The fact that you arrogantly assume as much shows you don't even watch the Bundesliga. If the Premier League was so good then why did two Premier League clubs finish bottom of their UCL group stages? I hate it when players don't get enough credit because fans like you want to parade the Premier League like it has the best football we've ever seen. No thank you. Give players like Sancho credit where it's due.
â ââ ââ ââ ââ ââ ââ @@theemotionalremix1. I do give players there credit when it is due. I think Sancho played well against PSG and said as much. 2. The bundesliga obviously is inferior in Terms of competition. What makes the Prem so unique is you never know what you are going to get out of a game as the teams from the bottom half are still very good. Also I donât dislike the Bundesliga and in fact watch it rather frequently, but it is just a fact it is less competitive, slower, and less physical. Bayern literally won the league for about 12 years in a row that is not competitive. Prem teams not being successful in the UCL doesnât prove there leagues are inferior neither does it prove they are superior. By your logic Ligue 1 is superior as they made it farther in the UCL. The reason they didnât make through there groups was because they didnât win on the day. Winning games is about Fine margins. Also the 2 teams you are talking about are United and Newcastle which both have suffered from a season affecting injury crisis. I never said it has the best football we have ever seen but in comparison to the other top 5 and certainly the Bundesliga it is the best at the moment.
