Star Citizen is probably the greatest game I've ever played. I mine mostly but can be found with other goods in my ship. :)

I wish salvage also had to use something like the hand devices we attach to rocks. Salvage makes too much money compared to the effort involved.

I’m sure things like that will come in time! Salvage will get an upgrade soon, mining isn’t even finished yet so still lots of surprises to come!
