In the 2 tree situation, and to save the effort of climbing tha 2 tree, did you try to 1. Use a cambium saver to climb tha first tree and 2. With tha rope that remains in the ground use it to make a "flipping lanyard" from the very bottom in the ground to link yourself to the second tree and so, haveing tha chance to go from one tree to the other up above...? 3. Mention please all the sizes of ropes, wabbing and cords for each specific uses for eather hanging yourself, seting the hammocks and installing the tarp so we have an idea of what to buy. Hey I'm glad I could answer some of your questions. The next video will answer a few more. I have indeed hung under a horizontal branch in a big white pine but still prefer the tarp sock. Just gotta get outside and start trying new stuff!
When tying a line in between two trees you should defintely either set it up with quite a bit of slack, or choose a really sturdy trunk with a diameter of 1m or more, something that really won't move
