Are you using two dredges, one on each side or just one dredge on the boat?

Could you please walk me through how the pulley is integrated into this process? Thank you

Take the main line from the control arm outer lead, Cut the setup off for regular down rigging and put a pulley( Recommend HARKEN) in place, Then run your snapswivel onto the line and tie it off to the outrigger main body. (Usually there a a few extra holes you can choose from)Snapswivel through the hole and run the snapswivel back onto the line not the metal or plastic body. There it is. the Swivel is onto the line creating a 2 - 1 ratio for easier weight distribution. Build your dredge connections with very heavy snapswivels (2-300lbs.)(crimped) in place about 12-16 inches from the top of the Harken swivel you just put on the line. Again CRIMP the heaviest mono you want to use onto the snapswivel for the dredge connection. My outriggers were (one) filled with 200LB mono,(Dredges) and the second downriver was 300 lb Braid when I was using the downrigger with a clip for deep lures and much heavier weights. Hope that helps. I use the braid to cut through the water smoother and the mono carrying the dredge is what the fish can see. By the Way, I'm using soft plastic and mylar dredges(nothing super heavy) .... Hope that Helps after all this time
