This is my show of the year so far, I tried the SC Elite V4 and Puma Fast R2. This is an incredible shoe.

I love this Colorway, but it is out of stock everywhere in my size.

Im a heavier and slower runner. I liked this shoe even at slow paces on my long run. I felt like it was unstable at walking speeds though. It does take a little bit to get this shoe on and to get the fit right. The laces are a bit different but seemed to hold on to each other well. As I slowed down and went more to heal striking I noticed that I was landing directly on the foam at the very back so a little worried about how long this will last for me but overall really liked running in this shoe.

Hi, what has been your experience with cielo x1 over the last 2 months?

@@Owski87 I love this show for long runs. Used it again today on a 14 mile run. Walking it's unstable but running even at slow pace it feels great. The one issue I have with this shoe and I have with most race day shoes as a heavier heal striker is the rubber doesn't last. I have 60 miles on this shoe and the heal rubber has significant wear already. But the bounce is amazing.

@@davidg9120 Thanks, I saw that they have less tread rubber at the end of the sole under the heel. Strange solution. When you write slow, what pace do you mean?

@@Owski87 today I ran 14.5 miles overall pace was 12 min per mile. My half marathon pace is 10 min per mile but I do all of my long runs much slower around 12 min per mile pace.

@@davidg9120 10 minutes per mile is not that slow - many triathletes (after swimming and cycling) run at this pace. I've never had carbon shoes and I wonder if they will cause some new injuries instead of helping me while running, and Hoka Cielo seems to be an interesting way to start my adventure with carbon.
