He was supposed to win the title against Santana to close their feud, but he was a no show at a couple of matches and Vince gave it to Valentine instead. Santana vs Orndorff was my favorite feud of his.

I saw another match from these two, I believe right before or right after Orndorff's turn on Hogan. Orndorff I believe finished with a clothesline pin for the win, I thought it was bizarre but cool seeing them against each other. The other match was on Dailymotion, haven't been able to find it again. What I really want is any of the two matches between Backlund, post title, and Orndorff.
Growing up I was one of the biggest Hogan fans ever..n I still am..but my favorite wrestlers are way different then whn I was 5 lol macho n Orndorff are my 2 favorite all time now..macho was so unique..he was the best promo in wrestling history n he had the best looking woman in wrestling history he was a top 3 Ic champion ever and he held both the WWF heavyweight title and the WCW heavyweight title was part of the best one off tag team ever the Mega Powers n even his second woman Gorgeous George was a smoke show..he could do everything in the ring n had believability which is huge too me I still think Hogan is the most important n #1 all time but Macho is #2..then there is Orndorff ..one of the most athletic wrestlers ever..was in impeccable shape..had an amazing look..was a very underrated talker..definitely one of the baddest guys goin..I mean at almost 50 he stomped out Vader with flip flops on and most ppl didnt know he had health issues where he couldn't use one of his arms well ..so to even get into any fight nevermind vs a monster double his weight n beat his ass tells u jus how much of a bad ass Orndorff was...n his matches with Hogan were awesome honestly thr some of the best iv ever seen...if nvr seen this match b4 so I'm def excited to watch it cuz I already know its good..

These two characters drew you in when you knew they were facing off. You had Macho Man who was sneaky as hell. And you had Orndorf who even as a Babyface was mean and downright nasty in his own way. I remember one match on Superstars when Orndorf had his arm in a cast when he hit Savage in his head with it and you could see Savage holding his head.
This would have a great feud. Of course, the end result being Mr. Wonderful being Intercontinental Champion. 😉

Fun fact: Orndorff had turned on Hogan 4 days earlier, but it wasn't shown on TV until the middle of July.
