If you can't afford to buy a set of wheels and tires outright then you probably shouldn't be financing them either. Typical keeping up with the jonses debt mentality.

If you're somewhat poor but obsessed with putting rims on your car, this is the only way you can do it. Bad way to spend money? Yeah. But it's a person's choice. It's no different than someone who isn't poor but also isn't rich, leasing a Porsche or Maserati, burning through payments for something they can't afford to own and have to give back. Is the leasing company foul for making it possible for someone like that to waste their money? A jewelry store immoral for allowing payment plans with high interest for a fake-it-til-they-make-it type person that wants to wear a diamond chain? People want what they want, no matter the penalties they suffer to get it.

Wildebeast357 leasing luxury cars doesn’t mean u can’t own them necessarily, a lot of times the monthly is a write off or you want to trade in to a new model after the lease is up . Why be stuck with a 60-70k car loan , and upside down on value with projected maintenance costs through the roof when u can just lease into a new car lol

thewhiteknight02, Wow! Magpies so enthralled with bright shiny objects that they will sign off on a title loan for a set of wheels ‘n tires. Probably at the highest allowable double digit rates too. And then get a payroll advance at the check cashing store to make the “note” on time, lol. That’s a sure fire formula for staying poor, the polar opposite of the proprietor.
