I was seriously not expecting such an insightful take on a review about this game of all things.

I loved this game, and I thought the use of sprites from other Capcom franchise games was as self-referential easter eggs for their fans. You may be right, but I will prefer to continue thinking of it that way lol.

Fantastic review! I used to be enamored by this game in the arcades. Back in the late 80s, it was often the best-looking game around. The news of it coming to the Switch made me seek out some reviews for it, and that lead me here.
Again, really well done and insightful review of a game that brings me a ton of nostalgia. An easy sub.

Game looks fun, reminds me of SCAT on NES or Mercs with Jetpacks. Interesting theory on the infantilization of pop culture in Japan. Helps explain all the video games and anime that resolve around school girls in Japan.

Wish there was an option to leave the dragon boss alone; it's not like he's going to come after you and looks like he's suffered enough
