If you don't mind me asking, what's the length of the door? Is it long enough to walk down relatively comfortably without hitting your head? If so, do you think it could have been made shorter?
Progressive Automations makes linear actuators that are much faster & quieter than this for around $400 each.
I want to do this as well, are there faster ones?
