After watching this I downloaded an app of a cricket chirping, just for the purpose of dissing people.
I wanted the tumbleweed one too, but couldn't find one.
@@adventureisland7049 It’s a cliche in movies that cricket noises play when someone makes a bad or embarrassing joke. Another cliche from western films is when a tumble weed rolls by to suggest stillness or deadness.
The farce is that Zach played a sound clip combining both cliches to emphasize how lame Conan’s joke was. It doesn’t matter if the joke was actually good or not; what’s funny is using the absurd imagery of a cricket riding a tumble weed to imply how bad a joke is.

Andy richter is probably one of the most underrated comedians/comedic actors or personalities in Hollywood. Or even just modern comedy. You get all these kids saying how amazing Conan is and yes I agree, but I scarcely see them mention Andy and honestly I look for his reactions when something funny happens
Andy is probably one of the quickest comedians in whitty comebacks. Underappreciated by the general public, for sure, but I'm certain he's highly respected in the industry.

The best thing about this one is you can see how hard both Andy and Zach are trying not to laugh.
This type of comment from different people seems to appear on each of these videos. Lol
They must burst into laughter constantly during these interviews; and then eventually they get a take where they manage to keep it together.
But if you look closely, you can sometimes see tears in their eyes, indicating that they just stopped laughing moments before.

Props to Conan for actually preparing something and making it seem like a real interview. Most of the people on these just look sad and stare at the floor trying not to laugh.
That's the main gag though. The interviews are supposed to be armature, and uncomfortable as hell. Conan, in the most figurative sense, flipped the script because he's an actual host.
