It's not that he "can't" defend, it's that he doesn't, which is even more frustrating. If you watch how often teams go at Luka for easy buckets, he's basically just watching his guy shoot so he can get his rebounds. El Matador, indeed.

That was a great travel call by the ref. Had to replay it a couple times to really see it
its nice to see that refs are starting to actually call them, the same happened with oubre on a clutch attack the other day
In my understanding, if he had landed with both feet at the same time (jumpstop), it would have been legal for him to move his left foot. Alternatively, if his right foot landed before his left foot, it would have been a travel also.

The last crucial play by curry which was called travel, he should drive the ball instead of forcing the 3, the double team is already broken and if he drives the ball wigs and klay could have been open to shoot three or easy lay up. That brick by Klay was gut wrenching. You could not have written a better clutch play, high stakes scenario, low stakes game, legendary 3 point shooter takes the last shot with several seconds on the clock. ..and he bricked it

What seesaw game it looks like a do or die Championship game between two top seeded team, both team shown a world class performance but Dallas bested Golden State with Luka doncic 41points.
The pelican's match was a good one for the bench players to get some time. So 4/5 games with a W was amazing. We can't expect them to win all the remaining 60/60. Take the L and let's meet jazz on Thursday

This is the problem with how Steph Curry changed the game. I agree that he's the greatest shooter we have ever seen but he should've just drove that for the 2 instead of wanting to be flashy taking a stepback 3 that ended up being a travel.
