As a current Domino's employee of 5 years, A.M. for about 3.5 now, I can say that I just tested these out in store. Fun fact if you know the 4 digit code to your favorite coupon, as long as it's still active, you'll be able to use it, otherwise, if the store says the coupon is inactive, either its online only, or no longer exists. As for the 2 coupons listed in the video, the 1st on I have just proven today no longer works, at least in store, so it may be online only, but as for the 2nd coupon, that one actually works on medium pans, larges of any crust, and small gluten free pizzas with up to 5 toppings. Hopefully this helps 👌

As an ex domino's manager, the best possible deal you can get is the mix and match deal for $6.99 (used to be 5.99) each. It's medium pizzas, sandwiches, pastas, specialty chicken, at least 2 or more for cheaper and more food than a large that goes for almost $20. It's the absolute best deal you can go for. Medium pizzas are just 2 inches smaller than a large.

You do miss out on topping choice that way, but you're generally paying more for less topping per pizza anyway.

So this isn't necessarily a big secret, but a lot of people don't realize that Dairy Queen doesn't advertise their full Blizzard menu. They will put anything/any combination into a blizzard for you including, but not limited to, the coffee powder they use in their frappuccinos, the chocolate, cherry, and butterscotch shell dips they use on their cones, and malt powder! Which I didn't even realize they had until I worked there, and it is magical! It makes every blizzard taste like it's blended with whoppers and you can add it to all of them. They will even put a whole banana split in there for you if you ask, and I would know because that was a common one people asked for at my store and it was a pain to make. There are a lot of blizzards that I was trained to make that I didn't realize existed, like the cookie jar, the banana cream pie, georgia mud slide, silk pie, and cappuccino heath, all somehow known by the diehard dairy queen fans to the point they're programmed options into the pos system even though they aren't advertised. My store was next to the freeway so we got a lot of truckers who were very passionate about their combinations. Also side fact, they will make a float out of anything, not just soda, the strangest of which is that they have programmed float options for their slushie/slurpee/freezee type drinks , which I never had anyone order, but they had a button for it. I've always wanted to go back and try it but it just sounds like ice cream mixed with a snow cone and I feel like I get why that isn't advertised. Another side fact, that whole holding the blizzard upsidown thing is something we were trained to do to show how thick it is, if we didn't do this we'd get in trouble, because we were technically supposed to give it to them for free. Side note: some people really didn't like that we were playing with their food, especially in the drive thru. Also if the blizzard isn't thick enough and falls out while we're holding it upsidown, we were supposed to remake it and give it to you for free so yeah, working at Dairy Queen felt like a very dangerous game in the summer.
As someone who worked at a dairy queen as well, pretty accurate. Holding it upside down with a banana split or receese extreme was hell because if you didn't make it perfectly it would drip. Same with royal blizzards especially with hot cores. Also, just to add, we won't make every combination. For example, we won't put everything in the store into the blizzard. We try to limit certain ingredients like not having more than 3 liquids in the blizzard so you don't get mush and having no more than like 5 total ingredients because then it's impossible to blend.

Same for me here in Malaysia. Normally we have super tuesday deals to get regular pizzas for RM 11 which is affordable but only on Tuesdays. After using a code for the past 3 months i have not paid full price. I always get my pizza 50% off. 😂😂

As a current Domino's employee of 5 years, A.M. for about 3.5 now, I can say that I just tested these out in store. Fun fact if you know the 4 digit code to your favorite coupon, as long as it's still active, you'll be able to use it, otherwise, if the store says the coupon is inactive, either its online only, or no longer exists. As for the 2 coupons listed in the video, the 1st on I have just proven today no longer works, at least in store, so it may be online only, but as for the 2nd coupon, that one actually works on medium pans, larges of any crust, and small gluten free pizzas with up to 5 toppings. Hopefully this helps 👌

As an ex domino's manager, the best possible deal you can get is the mix and match deal for $6.99 (used to be 5.99) each. It's medium pizzas, sandwiches, pastas, specialty chicken, at least 2 or more for cheaper and more food than a large that goes for almost $20.
It's the absolute best deal you can go for. Medium pizzas are just 2 inches smaller than a large.
Honestly I think the 20$ meal deal actually is the best for a family if you want a soda. the 6.99 is the worst for the company for your FL costs but food wise its not that great its only two or more items compared to 2 1-topping large with parmbites cinna twist and a 2-liter

It drives me nuts when people say Dominos is expensive after they spent $15 on a large, 1-topping pizza. You do realize the relationship between diameter and area of a circle, right? Area difference between a 16" and 18" pie is a lot more than 2" lol.

with that said,medium here is 12 inches and large is 14. squared, that puts the former at about 73% of the latter, making the price to beat a $6.99 medium $9.51, or $12.48 for a 16 inch XL.
that *is* doable, if you order a 1 topping pizza. if I'm looking at this $7.99 coupon and 2 dollar upgrade correctly.
You do miss out on topping choice that way, but you're generally paying more for less topping per pizza anyway.
Getting two medium pizzas for $14 is so outrageously good for a college student like me. That's 3-4 meals, $3.50-$5 a meal.

I'm curious, do y'all's domino's not have the 50% off for carry out when you click the coupons page? That's what I always do. It works on any pizza size including gluten free and as many or few toppings as you want

So this isn't necessarily a big secret, but a lot of people don't realize that Dairy Queen doesn't advertise their full Blizzard menu. They will put anything/any combination into a blizzard for you including, but not limited to, the coffee powder they use in their frappuccinos, the chocolate, cherry, and butterscotch shell dips they use on their cones, and malt powder! Which I didn't even realize they had until I worked there, and it is magical! It makes every blizzard taste like it's blended with whoppers and you can add it to all of them. They will even put a whole banana split in there for you if you ask, and I would know because that was a common one people asked for at my store and it was a pain to make. There are a lot of blizzards that I was trained to make that I didn't realize existed, like the cookie jar, the banana cream pie, georgia mud slide, silk pie, and cappuccino heath, all somehow known by the diehard dairy queen fans to the point they're programmed options into the pos system even though they aren't advertised. My store was next to the freeway so we got a lot of truckers who were very passionate about their combinations. Also side fact, they will make a float out of anything, not just soda, the strangest of which is that they have programmed float options for their slushie/slurpee/freezee type drinks , which I never had anyone order, but they had a button for it. I've always wanted to go back and try it but it just sounds like ice cream mixed with a snow cone and I feel like I get why that isn't advertised.
Another side fact, that whole holding the blizzard upsidown thing is something we were trained to do to show how thick it is, if we didn't do this we'd get in trouble, because we were technically supposed to give it to them for free. Side note: some people really didn't like that we were playing with their food, especially in the drive thru. Also if the blizzard isn't thick enough and falls out while we're holding it upsidown, we were supposed to remake it and give it to you for free so yeah, working at Dairy Queen felt like a very dangerous game in the summer.
As someone who worked at a dairy queen as well, pretty accurate. Holding it upside down with a banana split or receese extreme was hell because if you didn't make it perfectly it would drip. Same with royal blizzards especially with hot cores.
Also, just to add, we won't make every combination. For example, we won't put everything in the store into the blizzard. We try to limit certain ingredients like not having more than 3 liquids in the blizzard so you don't get mush and having no more than like 5 total ingredients because then it's impossible to blend.

@Integral_RoA used to be a flavor, not on the menu. Same with the grasshopper blizzard. If someone comes in liking peanut butter but doesn't know what they want, I bring up the peanut butter lover's blizzard which used to be on the menu (pb and pb cups)
