I lived in Australia for about one and a half years. My favorite involuntary pet was a Huntsman Spider. I woke up one morning with it sitting on my bedpost and just decided to leave it there. It kept my room clean of any insects, other spiders and once, I swear, it killed a baby snake. We made a deal: A place to stay in exchange for pest control. We became best buddies.

Not only is it his coping mechanism, what he doesn't tell you is it also repels bugs. The only reason he doesn't tell you is because he doesn't want the bugs to become desensitized to it via overexposure.
For the australia one, my boyfriend is actually australian and visited the States and yes, he calls the bugs tiny and friends. They do not think of anything of them at all
We have really tiny and highly venomous spiders here called redback spiders here in Australia (like black widows, in fact I think they're in the same family). They're nasty, a hell of a lot worse than huntsmen who are very chill and sweet. Funnel Web Spiders are pretty bad too, but they don't tend to come inside the house like huntsmen, they prefer the garden.

So the Giant Hornet (Vespa Mandrinia) Among the other awesome facts you mentioned about the Vespa Mandrinia , it can live up to 6 months, can fly 25mph, eats meat and other bugs and practically has no real predators because its the apex of its species. Truly an extraordinary, interesting and dynamic creature! 🐝
I was driving across the midwest last month. Ran into thousands of web gliding spiders. An hour later. I hit a baseball sized hail storm. eventually One of them bit my foot multiple times. Didnt even feel any of the bites. But those fangs took some chunks out on each bite. Took a week to feel better.
Fun fact, spiders (arachnids) don’t have a sense of smell. They use the hairs on their bodies to detect changes in the chemicals and movements in the particles in the air. In other words the scent isn’t important, what’s important is that you disrupt the flow of particles around the spiders so much so that to them, they sense a giant threat moving so close that they feel the urge to run away. Another explanation would be that the specific scent has a chemical balance that the arachnids feel in danger near those specific chemicals.

So the Giant Hornet
(Vespa Mandrinia)
Among the other awesome facts you mentioned about the Vespa Mandrinia , it can live up to 6 months, can fly 25mph, eats meat and other bugs and practically has no real predators because its the apex of its species. Truly an extraordinary, interesting and dynamic creature! 🐝
yayyyy.
more reasons to fear nature
So in other words I should change planets. Gotcha
As someone who works in pest control for a living this was hilarious me n my co workers love it
Whenever I see total yikes-bugs I think of the Jordan-hates-bugs dance XD
The most relatable reaction to bugs to ever exist.
22:43 As someone who was allergic to mosquito bites, I’m glad I did not live in Australia when I was younger.
You'll be ok,those hail stones don't have venom.
@@johnmoooo5804 🤣
Those spiders are sneaky.
I'm not even half way into the video and I've had goosebumps some many times!
I'm honestly here for Jordan's dancing 🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact, spiders (arachnids) don’t have a sense of smell. They use the hairs on their bodies to detect changes in the chemicals and movements in the particles in the air. In other words the scent isn’t important, what’s important is that you disrupt the flow of particles around the spiders so much so that to them, they sense a giant threat moving so close that they feel the urge to run away. Another explanation would be that the specific scent has a chemical balance that the arachnids feel in danger near those specific chemicals.
17:58 I did not notice that bug i thought it was a fruit or veg . This man right here gives the best facials . He truly makes me laugh. Keep up the good work.
Either fruit/veg or maybe some sort of sponge!
I'm 90% sure it is some type of sea cucumber.
@@batmanchica Looks like a dried sea cuke.
It’s actually a sea cucumber. Find my comment and get information about it

You slide a stiff paper under the cup, hold it there till you can release it outside. Or use a good fly swatter on it.
