again iam listening his speech about kannadasan.If any one take statistics about person listening more speech about Kannadasan hope I will become No.1 because i heard speech on Kannadasan from France,Tokyo,Australia,America,Singapore etc ., all are available on CZcams.
Tamilaruvi should not asseverate on topics he has no idea about. He is an authority on Tamil but not music. So he should not claim that MSV/TKR/KVM era was the best. Ilayaraja is the best composer not just in Tamil music, not just Indian, but arguably the world. In fact, there is no other field (art or sport) where the closest competitor is light years behind. Have anyone heard counterpoints in Indian film music before Raja? Heard interlude music that are so different not just to each other but to the main tune itself but falls so beautifully in harmony. Raja is possibly the only composer who has explored western classical, carnatic, hindustani, jazz, rock, pop, disco, folk and so many other genres. Finally he was the first composer who elevated a movie just through background score.
