Flew the SP from Wellington to Sydney and back again in 1984 as an 11 year old. Big buzz being on a little 747!

Nice!✈️.. VH-EAA used to fly into Wellington. I used to cut firewood with the pilot and he is a good mate he was a Royal Navy carriier pilot and when he was flying a Qantas B707 he was shot at flying into Saigon.!..thanks from NZ👍🇳🇿

Thanks for bringing back fond memories of flying quite a few trips to Sth Africa on the SP's in the late Eighties, being my most memorable of flights on the Queen of The Skies.

Late 90's took a few trips on these out of Japan , Nagoya-Cairns-Sydney , they had a shorter roll and felt like a rocket compared to the standard size 74 . fond memories.
