- Ultimately, Phase Four ends how it began - with a lot of underutilized potential. There are parts of this project that really shine but they’re overwhelmingly overshadowed by dull shades of grey that blanket this movie in a veil of mediocrity. Aesthetically, Wakanda Forever does look pretty good, with Namor’s homeworld beautifully realized and parts of Wakanda and its traditional funeral rites absolutely stunning to behold. It’s a pity then that simple things like CGI beats (including Ironheart’s abysmal suit at the end) undermine this beauty. Not only that but the choreography is a mixed bag at best. A fight on a bridge during the middle of this movie is disastrously done, with the camera zooming in on a spear just missing a Talokan warrior… and then in the next frame showing that same spear on the opposite side sticking into the warrior’s stomach. These sort of clumsy goofs are not something you’d expect to see so prominently from a $250 million budget project.
Namor is one of the few antagonists in the MCU who actually backs up his threats and isn’t afraid of doing the dirty work himself
He also gets what he wants in the end 💀

@@creature-pf4tp I don't even think it's a matter of not planning. They accounted for something he never had to think about, similar to why he was so formidable to Wakanda. Imagine if aliens that didn't breathe turned your town into a vacuum. Nobody would assume that's something that would happen in their own environment.

Black Panther beat him damn near Every single time in the comics. The feats that T’challa has in the Comics is 100times more impressive than what you saw in Movies. If Namor is the Bull, T’challa is the *Matador.*
I love how Namors theme takes over the wakanda theme. Just shows that he alone is more powerful then the entire country and everyone in it.
Namor was a bit overpowered for wakanda tbh.. I think that's what made it awesome. Wakanda sitting there this whole time thinking they're the top nation in the world.. and then boom; namor literally flies circles on em and totally obliterates wakanda's defenses.. in my opinion, Talokán would win in an all out fair war against wakanda. Only wish we could've seen Chadwick Boseman's BP go up against Namor atleast once or twice in the movie if he was still.. I'm sure namor would've killed T'challa's moms and T'challa would've fasho taken some personal approach against namor later on. Even if Shuri Is smarter by IQ, T'challa has more battlefield commonsense and he would've fasho had some different war tactics than shuri did, despite Coogler's writing. Either way, Wakanda Forever is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.

@@donlalo2002 actually they were, besides okoye vs attuma, the only reason they were able to flood wakanda is because they weren't prepared, and shuri wasn't in the right mindset to making the plan for the final battle, causing them to lose.

If Kang really is super powerful it would be better to see Namor, all three Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America/Falcon, Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Blade, the Marvels and the Fantastic Four all try to take him down that would be what Secret Wars is gonna be potential wise just hoping Doctor Doom is involved in some way because Doom will be the next major villain after Kang is done

With or without the Infinity Gauntlet? With Thanos and let’s say he’ll be in the Wakanda fight. I think he’ll get a few blows and can be fast, but Thanos spammed the Power Stone and or Reality stone. He’d also have the Time Stone. So he can always rewind his movements or something like that. If he helped in Endgame, he’d definitely have his entire army to help, and no doubt he can destroy Thanos in a fight. But that sword would pack a wallop, and it’s the equivalent of a human punching a brick wall. If he can hold his own against Thor with both hammers. He can take him for a good period of time.

Just heard that the MCU already has a plan to restore Namor's left ankle wing that Shuri cut off during their last fight... in my opinion it would've been awesome to involve namor in Greek mythology.. I mean it CAN happen; just look at Kratos of GoW... and not to mention; those ankle wings were technically in greek mythology as one of the gods(i forgot who) gave a pair of sandals with ankle wings to a mortal so he could be his messenger. Only if they were to make Namor a bit more invulnerable in the MCU then yea he'd for sure be on thor level strength
