It's usually a little more difficult to translate body language of foreigners but his raises several red flags. Watch his eyes before he answers. That means he's thinking of an answer and not recalling it from memory.

Did they confirm with the family that he claimed he went to get their daughters? Something smells very fishy.
When he was asked: "Did they torture you", it took him a couple of seconds before saying "some of them did" with his eyes looking on the floor and I do that all of the time when I lie, even the simplest lies. He could have simply said "Yes", but he could have also said "some of them" because he might still feel sympathy for them and is trying to say "some are good some are bad". I think this guy is lying..

I don't buy his story. He is not superman, going in a war zone to save 2 girls, who willingly went in to ISIS. He most probably got his leg broken in a fight in ISIS.
