      Yes. What actually happened was that WCW put some belt on him (I forget which) when he wasn't signed to a contract. Vince McMahon saw an opportunity to make his rivals look stupid (not that they needed him for that) and signed him to return to his old Haku gimmick.

      +OZZITHEISAAC Completely agree. What those people fail to realise is that if you cart out Adam for every single video, he'd be overexposed and lose his superstar aura. That's why you need mid-card talents like Simon to work some videos so when an Adam one drops, everyone knows it's the main event.

    Papi Chulo/Essa Rios was actually one of my favorite wrestlers back in WWE during the Attitude Era, so I haven't forgotten about him, but I can easily understand why many people would, as he was never featured on the main shows all that often, and you'd usually have to watch Heat, Jakked, and Metal to see him in action. I strongly remember his brief feud with the late Eddie Guerrero and Chyna when he was paired with Lita. He's currently wrestling in his native Mexico in CMLL under the name Mr. Aguila.

      I'm pretty sure new Jack and Vic Grimes did a scaffold spot at ECW living dangerously 2000 where Vic Grimes fucked up new Jack giving him brain damage by landing on him causing new Jack to take revenge in xpw by trying to kill Vic Grimes via ring post. #history #know it

      +GrompFedGG Cornette is wrong. But it's another chance to talk crap about the WWE and like an obsessed ex, Cornette will never let a chance like that go by. Severn was a legit badass, but he has the charisma of a cardboard box. Even TNA didn't want him, going so far as to have him stripped of the NWA Championship.

      We look at the Attitude Era with rose tinted glasses for every Stone Cold there were 10 Beaver Cleavages.

    • @KIRA-EL
      @KIRA-EL Před 8 lety +1

      I never said it didn't I said there was a lot of really bad stuff the because of the timne we thought it was gold. Not saying there weren't a lot of workhorses but they never really got the chance to show it. The show itself was much more character driven as a result A guy like Val Venis (who was a really good wrestler had the focus on his gimmick and never really got to shine as an in-ring preformer.Al Snow also really good and had a hell of a match with Triple H SD once but the focus was just on the fact that he's crazy. What I'm saying is a guy like Cesaro who is a beast when you put him against any era and gets over only on his wrestling wouldve been second fiddle to a guy like the godfather because one of them had an interesting gimmick and gimmicks and shock tv were very much the focus.
