Tyler Reks had the most potential due to his look which was different and his in ring ability was good so much that he could of been a main eventer. The only thing that was off about him was that his voice did not go well with his bad ass look. Also, what about the following: Jesse (Luke Gallows former partner) Vance Archer Bam Neely DJ Gabriel Lena Yada Manu
I would say Jesse had a fair low-card career. He transitioned into that weird rapper gimmick after Festus stopped being Festus. He stuck around the company for at least a couple years unlike the guys on this list.
Kevin Daly Jessy or whatever his name is, had a funny gimmick. I was 6 years old when I saw him team up with Festus. Festus made me and my dad laugh especially their match against Miz and Morrison. It was funny as hell. Miz uses the bell while Morrison beats his ass. Same thing happened in Festus vs MVP lol. It was crazy.
I remember there being a Chris Benoit wanna be on Smackdown called Gunner Scott, and the only thing I remember about his run is when booker t called him gunner somthin
If what I read from multiple articles and sources is correct, the story behind Hade Vansen was that his promo and almost-feud with Taker happened when Freddie Prinze Jr. was given some creative control. He brought in Vansen and had him cut the promo. Only problem with that was that it was all done without Vince's say-so or even knowledge. Once Vince found out though, he canned the whole thing.
I remember reading some online rumour that cause Reks was using the Burning Hammer as his finisher, Cena told him to change it cause it looked too much like the AA, Reks said no and Cena got him depushed and shit. This is all heresay mind you. Anyway this list needed Eli Cottonwood.
Considering how most of this channel's demographic lived through the PG era,its no surprise to anyone if you remember 99.9% of the people on this list.
I always enjoyed Maxine (Karlee Perez). She made things interesting when WWE lacked interesting. She is literally killing it on Lucha Underground as Catrina.
I remember watching Tyler Reks at FCW all the time with my dad (we live near Tampa so we attended a lot of FCW shows. Good times.) He was one of our favorites. Its too bad he didn't do too well on the main roster.
The main reason I remember Hade Vansen was because I watched him wrestler for FWA at the Morecambe Dome of all places. Then seeing him cut a promo on the Undertaker was fucking weird.
If he said what he said in the attitude era, he would have gotten a push for it. I get why he was released and I mostly agree with the decision from a corporate standpoint, but I wish people weren't so sensitive nowadays.
I remember Reks. To be honest, I liked him. I remember his entrance at the Royal Rumble, when the entire Nexus was in the ring, and he came up by himself, it was like "now this guy is gonna destroy them all". Nice body, nice gimmick, bad mic skills
Maxine was awesome. All of the stuff w/ her and Dirty Curty Johnny Curtis was great. Jack The Jobber has officially hopped into position as 2nd best WhatCulture guy
Ricky Ortiz was put on WWE television with less than two years of professional wrestling experience? This is why WWE will never be taken as seriously as UFC. They'd NEVER put a guy in the Octagon on two year's worth of training with a background in a different sport...
"They'd NEVER put a guy in the Octagon with two year's worth of training with a background in entertainment..." Fixed that for ya =P Seriously though, just saying "a different sport" really doesn't stress enough just how little pro wrestling prepares you for MMA. Amateur wrestling, BJJ, boxing, and other martial arts are different sports and it makes more sense to put them in the cage. Even the ex-football players on other elite level athletes that have transitioned into MMA make more sense than Punk because while wrestling does have some great athletes, you can certainly go far without being one, and Punk is a great example of a guy who reached the top and wasn't very athletic.
I remember all, but Ryan Braddock and that guy that was meant to feud with Undertaker in the vignettes. I really wanted Tyler Reks to succeed though. I remember he had this really cool song for his entrance, and his finisher, The Burning Hammer, that he did on Santino in the 7 on 7 Bragging Rights match was cool.
I remembered most of these guys: Tarver, Rex, Escobar but the likes of Ortiz and Maxine don't ring any bells at all. Can't believe they were on tv for weeks lol
wwefan1013 Michael and Wade for sure IDK if Justin Gabriel or Ryback are in the company anymore, I haven't seen them for a while and neither of them were drafted.
Eric Escobar is most remembered for his little thing on the October 10,2009 10th anniversary episode of Smackdown. That is just the reason I remember him.
evilphoenix 007 wow I remember him! Bleach blonde hair and all white outfit lol used to carry around some sort of cross thing I I think haha wow no clue that was the same guy
Well cm punk had only 2 years of training for a legitimate fight on ufc with no prior training. You really don't need all that much time of wrestling training to make it lol
I remember Tyler Reks, mostly because Matt Stryker gave him a pretty cool nickname "the dread-locked demolition man" For some reason, that nickname made him stick with me.
A PG superstar I don't remember?
John Cena.
People bring his name up, but I couldn't see him.
do do duuuuu
lol
You just can't see him, that's all
John Davis, you know what. You just made to list
I don't blame ya, his "invisible man" gimmick never really got over.
it would have been to good if when I click 'read more' it said 'du do do duuuuu'
Does anybody remember Jimmy Wang Yang..the Asian Cowboy?
Keenon Myers Dude had mad heart and people cheered him like crazy yet he never got the chance he deserved a real shame.
Is he asian? Or american? I speak he's american & i can't forget him but i can forget his name
I do
Me
@@regularsnippets me too
I remember maxine
And tarver
then watch luchanundergrond
Zach Horvitz so do i
Mason Ryan from his new Nexus debut beating up kane into nowhere
What about Mason Ryan? On God I thought he was Batista when he first debuted
People remember him.
Frank Lucas yea and he is in the nxt locker rooms waiting to come out
Frank Lucas oh yeah I remember him. I definitely remember the name
Welsh Batista!
thought the exact same thing when i first saw him lol
I remember tyler reks, he's the guy with the worst and most insulting burning hammer of all time.
Jamie Aitken
Reks* lol
lol
Yeh! How dare his finisher not have the potential to kill or paralyse someone!
it wasn't a burning hammer
Jamie Aitken Me too
Fun fact Ricky Ortiz is actually Colin Kaepernick
Big Time Breaks Uh No
I can name 5 without watching it. Kaval, Tyler Reks, Ricky Ortiz(Layla's husband), Bam Neely(La Familia), and Chris Benoit
PG era started in 2008, Benoit ended in 2007
Chris who?
logan kerr whose Chris ?
Krispen Wagh
Krispen Wah?
When you're too early so all the comments are awful.
this is so true
So is yours
Not sure coming in later helps much.
I can solve this for you. Wander into the mainland, Penguin.
Babadildo *plays sad music*
Kaval should be on this list. Even whatculture forgot about him
And people commenting about Vance Archer when they clearly remember him
I guess? I feel like Kaval's reputation outside the wwe (as low ki) precludes him from being on the list for that reason.
Everyone remembers Kaval, I mean, a lot of guys are commenting his name, SO...
Tyler Reks had the most potential due to his look which was different and his in ring ability was good so much that he could of been a main eventer. The only thing that was off about him was that his voice did not go well with his bad ass look.
Also, what about the following:
Jesse (Luke Gallows former partner)
Vance Archer
Bam Neely
DJ Gabriel
Lena Yada
Manu
I would say Jesse had a fair low-card career. He transitioned into that weird rapper gimmick after Festus stopped being Festus. He stuck around the company for at least a couple years unlike the guys on this list.
just stick Reks with Enzo and Cass, he'll fit in with them
RealestGuyInTheRoom what sucks about it is that wwe made Kaval(TNA's Lo Qi) job to this guy in 2010.
RealestGuyInTheRoom Manu is most memorable.
You forgot colt cabana's wwe run
man everybody remembers Tarver. We miss Tarver :'( #PrayForTarver
#prayforTarver
#Tulemmemuistamaansinuttarver
SUOMI MAINITTU
Wait why are we praying for Tarver?
Pray for Shelton
You should also include a good Curtis Axel gimmick. I really don't remember any.
+Klockgaming the meta powers
Klockgaming yeah, sure, pretending to be other wrestler. Great gimmick.
Polishboss
I remember there being a Chris Benoit wanna be on Smackdown called Gunner Scott, and the only thing I remember about his run is when booker t called him gunner somthin
That would fall under the Ruthless Aggression Era not the PG era...
RJValdez216 you won't believe but he is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion .. and is known widely as Brent Albright
His work in OVW with CM Punk was fantastic
RJValdez216 I thought more of a Bret Hart type honestly, but when you're booked to be a certain way, are you gonna say no and possibly get released?
Kizarny has been undefeated in WWE for 9 years
12 now
@@reillymcwriting actually 13*
Vance Archer I remember him from SvR 2010
that is actually thr only reason i know him lol
*SvR 2011
you mean 2011?
How did he get into SvR 11? I've owned every wrestling game since like no mercy and he was the only guy i was like "who the fuck is that?"
Maybe they just wanted a jobber that no would feel bad about beating the hell out of? Who knows?
James Ellsworth - Best thing to happen to the PG era.
ShengJun101 James for wwe champ
ShengJun101 it's the new era not PG era
it's the new era but that name sucks so let's just call it the pretentious era.
ShengJun101 not even close
+Klockgaming exactly i completely agree with you
they like that wwe makes styles look weak
I remember Maxine and Tyler Reks, they had awesome theme songs and that BIG BOOT by Rexs is EPIC
Also there's people like Vance a
Archer,Mason Ryan and lucky cannon
What about
Vance Archer
Shad
Percy Watson
Eli Cottonwood
Lucky Cannon
Jacob Novak
Shad was relevant for being part of Cryme Tyme.
Goombaic Fair enough but when people think of cryme tyme they mainly think of JTG
Also Vance archer is successful outside of WWE but was extremely forgettable in wwe
Strapped Dave shad is still pretty popular
I remember both Jacob Novak and Lucky Cannon
Tyler Reks... that Burning Hammer tho...
TheCavemanBrown "Burning Hammer"
Calling what Tyler Reks did a Burning Hammer is like calling an Attitude Adjustment a Death Valley Driver.
AssassinoJaxon funny thing is, it actually is a DVD with just slight modifications.
2008 was a horrible year to debut
Dineth madurawala yeah but it was a great yr.
I remember reading some online rumour that cause Reks was using the Burning Hammer as his finisher, Cena told him to change it cause it looked too much like the AA, Reks said no and Cena got him depushed and shit. This is all heresay mind you. Anyway this list needed Eli Cottonwood.
I heard that also and I believe it I mean look at what happened to Kofi before joining new day
Thats what Reks said and tbh I believe him considering the stories that have come out about Cena's backstage politicking.
Wouldn't be surprised. Cena cries, Cena sees something he don't like, Cena gets what he want. Just like that other guy, what's his name? Oh, the Rock!
RiskuBusiness
RiskuBusiness
Please I remember all of them. And I met Kizarny when his career started in 2000. Nice guy.
Chopper same
Cool
Chopper kizarny is a cool dude had breakfast with him when I was working a few shoes shows he was on.
I'm really jealous that you met Kizarny. Like really really jealous.
He was called Sinn when I met him, he looked exactly like Christian did at the time. (2000)
Liked the editing choices on this episode, really good pacing and matched the cadence of the voice over really well.
Wish Maxine was back, she was awesome.
Fucking hell I remember 10,9,7,6,5,4,2,1
That means you're a true wrestling fan
bangingyourmom247 no
Considering how most of this channel's demographic lived through the PG era,its no surprise to anyone if you remember 99.9% of the people on this list.
I didn't remember 5 through 2. Knew the rest tho
i remembered most of them
I always enjoyed Maxine (Karlee Perez). She made things interesting when WWE lacked interesting. She is literally killing it on Lucha Underground as Catrina.
The Bateman-Maxine-Curtis angle was the best, worst thing on NXT.
Bateman and Johnny Curtis one became godlike the other is fandango and they fought over some one that could literally kill them now being in LU wow
She's way too sexy not to be remembered.
only me who remembers kizarny?
Shinque nope
I remember Crow bar but not that guy lol
I actually remember some of these because I started watching WWE in 2010
Do a "Why James Ellsworth should be the new face of WWE" episode
Except, you're a "other people" and he's saying something different than you are, as you are under the impression that Ellsworth is Eugene.
Adrian Beltre says the guy who named his account after a washed up baseball player
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh shots fired!
Jonathan Doyle beltre is a beast
Jonathan Doyle how do you feel about that now
I remember Tyler reks and Michael tarver because I use to be a massive nexus fan
And ik Tyler reks caused I watched him when he debuted
Lord Beerus same. I hate when they put u totally don't remember
Tyler went to TNA right before Hulk Hogan screwed it up
***** Oh damn... I'm thinking about Mike Knox. I'm Thinking about Aces and Eights
***** Mike Knox is another one too... dude's a beast
I remember watching Tyler Reks at FCW all the time with my dad (we live near Tampa so we attended a lot of FCW shows. Good times.) He was one of our favorites. Its too bad he didn't do too well on the main roster.
0:39 Hell yeah! That game is one of my all-time favorites!
I remember Kizarny for his vignettes and his sick-ass DDT,
Tyler Reks for his "Burning Hammer",
And Tarver for...
Yeah.
Nozid Tarver for his face mask lol
Didn't he get buried by the golden shovel of doom owned by johnny johnny?
How about NXT Superstar "Showtime" Percy Watson
Eli Cottonwood, Aksana and Jacob Novak are three more NXT contestants lost to time
PERCY!!!
OH SHIT completely forgot about Percy Watson
Should've been in the Prime Time Players
**holds finger in the air** OH YEAH!
They didn't even mention Rek's monster heel gimmick from 2010-2011
Vance archer?
I'm popping off for those that I actually remember. 4/10!
Forgotten tag team Deuce and Domino.
Snitzky?
If that is how his name is spelled...
Jay Hardy nooo haha the Kane, Matt hardy/edge/snitsky feuds were always pretty big and memorable
I wouldn't exactly call him forgettable.
He debuted around 2004-2005 so he wouldn't count for this list
It wasn't his fault
Jay Hardy snitsky was cool
Camacho.
That's right, you forgot him so much you don't even know who I'm talking about.
lmao
Is it bad that I remember all of these except for Hade Vansen?
Not at all. I didn't remember him either. This video is the first I ever heard of him.
The main reason I remember Hade Vansen was because I watched him wrestler for FWA at the Morecambe Dome of all places. Then seeing him cut a promo on the Undertaker was fucking weird.
I remembered his promo
Anyone remember the Abraham Washington Show
yep ! his release was on every wrestling forum
Shame he got released. One of my fav managers. Was good on the mic and knew how to be an obnoxious heel.
that mans
voice
If he said what he said in the attitude era, he would have gotten a push for it. I get why he was released and I mostly agree with the decision from a corporate standpoint, but I wish people weren't so sensitive nowadays.
AW is remembered for the Kobe Bryant incident that killed his career.
Props to this list because it's one of the very few of its kind where I actually didn't remember some of the entries.
I remember Reks. To be honest, I liked him.
I remember his entrance at the Royal Rumble, when the entire Nexus was in the ring, and he came up by himself, it was like "now this guy is gonna destroy them all".
Nice body, nice gimmick, bad mic skills
Chuck Palumbo....the dude riding in the motorcycle, he appear in SVR 09 only..
But he looked so good to me.
+Paul Grant Rico Constantino dislikes this.
I remember him having a feud with Jamie Noble over Michelle McCool during his second run. Was actually pretty entertaining.
Chuck Palumbo also appeared in other wwe game too I believe. also he debuted during the ruthless aggression era
Only in Svr 09 , cause I had svr 08,10 u wasn't on it
The funny thing is Tarver was the one guy in nexus I always referred as "what's his face with the stupid mask"
Maxine was awesome. All of the stuff w/ her and Dirty Curty Johnny Curtis was great.
Jack The Jobber has officially hopped into position as 2nd best WhatCulture guy
Excellent Video Shelton!
Is it sad that I remember most of these. Especially Kizarny.
What about Vance Archer?
georgespahouse Official I remember him
SVR11 My main g.
georgespahouse Official He's tagging witu Davey Boy Smith Jr in NOAH and is the tag champ over there.
he was intense...
remembered Reks and Escobar, kinda recognised another couple of names. Nice list!
I love Simon's video's man. He is the man.
Vance Archer and Mike knox (i only know them from svr 2011)
Knox was around for 4, 5 years in WWE. He's not a forgotten face.
Mike Knox was awesome, I loved his theme.
adam should book kurt angle's return
Holy crap... I remember all of them (except Hade Vansen).
I gotta do something with my life. LOL
Tyler Reks lives in my home town of Rohnert Park CA, a bunch of us workout with him here. Super nice guy.
Ricky Ortiz for 2017 HOF.
Ricky Ortiz was put on WWE television with less than two years of professional wrestling experience? This is why WWE will never be taken as seriously as UFC. They'd NEVER put a guy in the Octagon on two year's worth of training with a background in a different sport...
UFC will never do that especially if the guy is not athletically gifted and is over 35 years old.
Thomas Broome-Jones *Cough CM Punk Cough*
"They'd NEVER put a guy in the Octagon with two year's worth of training with a background in entertainment..."
Fixed that for ya =P
Seriously though, just saying "a different sport" really doesn't stress enough just how little pro wrestling prepares you for MMA. +KMan TV nice gay ass meme there, took 2 seconds to make that shit?
Thomas Broome-Jones of course they wouldn't, that's just crazy talk
great list. bcuz I totally didn't remember ANY of these. lol
What about Marcus Cor Von? Or even Sylvester Terkay? Hell even Kaval?
kaval is low ki outside of wwe so he's pretty know to indie fans
Cor Von wasn't PG era. He was 2007 mainly. Before wwe went PG,
Everyone knows Marucs Cor Von because of SvR 2008 :D
Can't really count Kaval cause of his reputation under the name Low Ki
Marcus Cor Von Was Monty Brown In TNA
Vance Archer
#4 - I didn't know Tim Minchin was in WWE
I remembered most of these guys: Tarver, Rex, Escobar but the likes of Ortiz and Maxine don't ring any bells at all. Can't believe they were on tv for weeks lol
1:40 i just paused and realized that just 3 members of the nexus are still employed by wwe shame what happend to the nexus!

Justin left a while ago, Ryback more recently
What ever happened to Brad Maddox 🤔🤔
Garmanarnar !! He got fired
Good list. 1 that I hardly remember, 1 that I forgot about, and 1 that I only know was in WWE because of... research...
Eric Escobar is most remembered for his little thing on the October 10,2009 10th anniversary episode of Smackdown. That is just the reason I remember him.
anyone remember lance hoyt's brief run as vance archer?
Mason Ryan? Anyone? Ok.
i remember the dudebusters! i really liked them and missed them in the ring. caylen and trent were awesome.

I'm pretty happy that I remembered two of 'em... s'better than I ever do with these lists! Even more, it was numbers 5 and 4! Not a bad score!
I remember half of these guys, give me my goddamn cookie
2009 to 2012 had a lot of jobbers if wwe tried to at least trained them for a bit they would have a lot of talented wrestlers for the future
3:14 Who's that guy with Keyblades on his pants?
The Hug Box Matt Hardy
i loved kizarny, i wish he had a longer run or would come back. i was entertained by his vignettes and his match
I liked Kizarny! He's promos were pretty cool!
Luther Reigns.

Well cm punk had only 2 years of training for a legitimate fight on ufc with no prior training. You really don't need all that much time of wrestling training to make it lol
evan bourne,yosih tatsu,mason ryan,jtg,shad,jesse,festus. there are more
festus is actually Luke Gallows
Juan Pirelli I remember every single one of them
festus debuted during the ruthless aggression era I believe
Juan Pirelli cryme tyme and festus and Jesse came before PG and it's safe to say I along wit everyone else remembers everyone u listed
People remember festus (Luke Gallows). Especially because of his work after that gimmick
If I was in charge of naming wrestlers you would be watching a WWE title match between Ian and Dave
Pretty good list. I had no memory of Ryan Braddock or Hade Vansen.
Vance Archer ??????
What ever happened to Brodus Clay?
In TNA
Tracy McGrady Tyrus
Tracy McGrady Tyrus in TNA
Tracy McGrady he became EC3(Derrick Bateman in wwe) bodyguard in TNA
The dudebusters was actually one of my favorite tag teams of that time.
I only remembered Kizarny and "what's his name from the video". Mind you, I've been watching since the early 2000s.
Last time I was this early....
Oh fuck it! Just give me some thumbs up, okay? ;-;
Maxine the African dream
I remember Tyler Reks, mostly because Matt Stryker gave him a pretty cool nickname "the dread-locked demolition man"
For some reason, that nickname made him stick with me.
This is the only time they've made a list of people we didn't remember and I actually didn't remember over half of them
