75th Annual Daffodil Parade in Puyallup Sat April 12th 2008

The Grand Floral Street Parade is the highlight of Festival Week. The parade travels through the four cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting and consists of approximately 40 float entries and over 80 other entries, including bands, marching and mounted units. The floats are decorated with fresh-cut Daffodils, numbering in the thousands. The Daffodil Festival will be celebrating it's 75th year during the 2008 festival season.
I am working at Fremont Studios now and was able to get about 10 minutes of footage during the parade. This was shot from my camera and this footage is not on the publicly available DVD. I shot this all with my Canon HV20 in High Defination. It was a very nice day in Puyallup, WA during parade, about 77 degrees. Today Wednesday they are talking about it snowing again so weather locally has been crazy but glad it wasn't raining like normal.

Sorry about Puyallup High School Band not making it in the video but I didn't get very much footage of them. I included everything I shot in this video post. I did the best to get as much as I could. I was working this event on a TV spot for the Parade but this footage is different than that shown on TV since I don't have the rights to that footage I can't post that. Thanks for the comment. DWP
