KAYAKING THE WEST FORK OF THE TUCKASEGEE RIVER

Come with me as I whitewater kayak down the breathtaking West Fork of the Tuckasesee River in North Carolina. There is a mile hike into High Falls, where we put in beneath a 120-foot waterfall. The rest of the run is a Southeast classic and understandably so!

If you're ever in Virginia and looking to paddle, try to run Goshen Pass (Maury River), Tye River, John's Creek, and Bottom's Creek.

Sick run. If you can catch Big Laurel at high water its super fun- dumps out into section 9 French Broad. Used to live out there for many years. Western water these days. No more kayaks just rafting
