Hi there .Thank you for this 😊. I’m 45 , female . My lips are thinner than they used to be and I am getting more noticeable smokers lines. I’d say my skin quality is medium. I work outside and get a lot of sun despite tons of sunscreen. I have red hair . So I do burn easily. I used to get told I had beautiful skin until the last 5 years . I’ve aged so much in the last 5 years , at least to me . What’s the best filler for someone like me who is just starting to show their age and just wants a restoration? My brain tells me I’d want thinner fillers . I don’t mind if they dissolve quickly because that would mean less build up and migration if it dissolves faster . I’m a lip purser and very animated when I talk . I’m considering getting filler this Thursday with my Botox . But I’m so scared. I’ve not seen many people in my area who have fillers and actually look natural.I also have a fast metabolism: I burn Botox off in 1.5-2 months instead of the usual 3-4 .

Thank you so much for sharing this. I think its good to be cautious with filler as you can always build up the effect with more treatments later if you want to increase noticeability. The thinnest filler we have used on lips are Teosyal RHA 2 which we use as part of our smokers lines combo treatment alongside Botox. Its good for a little bit of definition. I find Volbella and Belotero lips give a very nice smooth finish which feels very natural and if used correctly you can get a bit of definition and a bit of volume that still looks very natural. If you're a lip purser and have vertical lip lines ask your practitioner about "smokers lines treatment" as that might help further improve the appearance of your lips alongside lip filler. As for the overall skin ageing bit, have you considered profhilo? It does a great job of smoothing skin and plumping up skin ad pairs really well with Botox.

Which filler last longer on average, Restylane kysse or juverderm Volbella

Great question! It depends on where the filler is injected and your metabolism (ie how quickly your body breaks it down). In general for the lips, both Juvederm volbella and Restylane Kysse last for up to 12 months.
